On Dec. 30th, we opted to lease the home for Feb & Mar & some extra days, Sandra informed us that Chad would be in meetings until 4pm, and at that time they would be able to contact the home owner to see if our request was acceptable. Sandra called the next day and informed us the owner had accepted our proposal and that we needed to meet that night to sign the rental application and remit payment for the fee & utilities. We met her at 7pm, Dec. 31st, at Applebees' and she said everything was good to go. We signed the agreement and gave her our check in the amount of $350.00. She gave us rental papers to take home and fill out and return to her. We informed her we wouldn't be home until the 7th of Jan. She informed us as soon as we got home we could fax them to their office. After faxing the papers, we heard nothing for a week, I then called the office and she informed me that the property had been rented to someone else for a longer term by Chad, on the same day we signed our papers. We had already packed our stuff and were getting ready to drive to Arizona for the winter. I don't know when she was going to call me and tell me, "Oh, by the way we rented the property right out from underneath you!"............I called her very unethical and very unprofessional. I would never use this company again............
