 + -1 moreThe person I talked to remembered having serviced the house in the past, even though the work he did was several months ago. He came over with a tank truck and a helper within a couple of hours, and quickly found the underground tank, and quickly removed an obstruction. They then made sure all the toilets flushed, etc., and that the system was working properly. After that, he took the time to show us how a septic system worked, and what we should be doing as far as operating it, what not to flush, to make sure not to plant trees or bushes near the septic field, etc. (We are city types that are used to sewers, etc., and didn't know how septic systems work.) He charged us $40., although I assume it would have been more had it not been that they were the ones that originally serviced the system. They were both friendly and helpful and I would recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: We purchased a 5 year old manufactured home, and lived it in for about 2 weeks when we suddenly found that no water was draining from the house. All the sinks, toilets, etc. were backed up.We knew that prior to the house closing, the former owner (a bank) was required to have the septic tank pumped and the system 'certified', and the company that did the work, Avra-Marana Pumping was listed on the closing papers, so we called them.
