Arizona Color Quest Painting has been a licensed and bonded company since 2001. Roc #170899 I started in the painting, drywall and wall covering industry in 1983 when I was 16 years old. Since then I have worked with some of Arizona's largest painting companies such as Pete King and Ghaster Painting completing many jobs in both commercial and residential. I completed top of my class 3 years interior decorating and design through the Phoenix Painters Union Local 86 and I have worked on projects such as the Wildlife World Zoo building and painting exhibits for over 10 years, Phoenix City Hall, Pointe resorts as well as many residential projects new and repaint. I have a vast knowledge in the construction industry and don't "just throw the paint on". I know what causes the underlying problems and how to CORRECTLY fix it. I was also a Superintendent for Del Webb Coventry and participated in the building of many large housing divisions such as Anthem, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, McDowell Mountain Ranch Stetson Hills and Kensington Estates in Mesa just to name a few. Furthermore, be sure you aren’t inadvertently spraying the asbestos fibers around when you take on this project, and as always, be sure to wear the proper protective gear, including a P-100-rated respirator and a disposable body suit, so as not to inadvertently breathe in or spread asbestos fibers.

Painting over polyurethane without sanding is not advisable. Sanding, followed by priming, is pivotal in ensuring proper adhesion of the new paint. Sanding creates a rough surface that allows the primer to adhere firmly, which helps paint cure correctly, providing a long-lasting and smooth finish. Neglecting thorough sanding, followed by a paint primer, could lead to the paint not adhering effectively, causing peeling or uneven application.

You can use paint rollers up to five times with proper care. Reusing paint rollers up to five times shouldn't affect the quality of the paint application, but if you try to use it any more than that your paint job will not be as smooth. You can use roller frames and paint trays indefinitely.
