I had 8'5" of clearance for the 8' spa to be moved under the roof on the side of the house and when they arrived I was told by the movers that they needed a minimum of 8" of clearance; not something I was told before hand. They secured a crane and gave me a discounted price on it lifting the spa over the wall. The movers shattered the control panel access door moving it. After two messages and three calls to the company to find out what they would do to make it right, I was finally able to speak with Wade who informed me that they are not liable for damage to the during movement given their liability disclaimer on their invoice / workorder. The movers presented me with the invoice AFTER the access panel was broken and called Wade but I was only told I might expect a call from him on the matter. When I was able to discuss the matter on the phone he repeatedly reminded me that they are not liable for damage while moving the spa b/c the wood is fragile. The piece shattered b/c they seated the access panel side improperly on their dolly but after 20 minutes on the phone he was only interested in my accepting responsbility though I did not see their waiver until after the work / damage was done.
