We always strive to only repair or replace what you need, up sales are against policy! We wont recommend unnecessary work on your AC or heating system. Cooler Tymes is known as “The Valley’s Cooling and Heating Specialist”, and it’s for good reason. We perform each service right the first time to keep your home running properly for years to come. Everything is done to code, and we have yet to have a call back to fix a reoccurring issue. Using a very clear vision, Cooler Tymes believes in the following: Be honest, dependable, reasonable and treat every home as if it were our own. Our affordability also incentivizes our customers from coming back and sending their referrals. We pride ourselves on our speedy responses to calls (after all, living in a state that hits 120 degrees, is there a choice?), and we love to take the time to fully educate our customers on the products and services we provide.

On a Friday afternoon and after choosing Cooler Tymes based on their ratings and reviews, we called and they sent someone out Saturday evening. (It was an excessive heat weekend and they were quite busy.) Glenn looked at our system and in less than 30 minutes had diagnosed that the blower motor was inoperable and needed to be replaced. We were charged $85 for the service call (a bit high in my opinion, and the reason for my "B" rating) and they didn't have the part in stock, so we had to wait until Monday afternoon when they could get it and get back out to us. Glenn installed the part and our total bill was $900+. We found that on Tuesday, the upstairs was not cool again and were able to troubleshoot by text, and determined that another visit needed to happen. It turned out that the motor was installed backwards and it was a quick fix at no charge. I rated the quality a "B" for this reason, it was a rookie mistake, and Glenn didn't seem like a newbie, shouldn't of happened. Mistakes do happen, none-the-less and it was corrected immediately, so all's well. I would hire them again.

They showed up within an hour of my phone call and fixed the problem within ten minutes. The price was average for what was done. I didn't have to miss work since they were able to come out so fast! Very grateful!

For the past few years, we’ve especially dreaded summer in Arizona as our ancient air conditioner’s performance steadily declined as our utility bills shot sky high. For many years, we had a home warranty and would request the summer tune-up. Despite the The contractors would top of the Freon or tell us everything was fine. Worse still, the home builder installed an undersized condenser unit with a mismatched air handler, so we never had ideal cooling. So this year, when the cooling differential dropped to a measly 7 degrees and the condenser unit started rattling loudly, we called Cooler Tymes for help. Glenn came out, gave our equipment a once-over and took some pictures of our evaporative coil. It was in bad shape. Corroded and leaking Freon and oil, ice had formed on the assembly because it couldn’t cycle out the hot air efficiently enough. Our 20-year old unit would not last the summer! Glenn gathered some information about the house and presented us with three compatible high efficiency Lennox models. We selected a 3-ton 16 seer model and got approved for financing on the spot. Two days later, Cooler Tymes came out to install our unit, and in less than 6 hours we had cold, not slightly cool, but COLD air blowing out of our vents, something we’d not had for a long time. In 90+ degree weather, our old unit would run all afternoon to keep the house at 77 to 78 degrees. Our new unit runs about 5-8 minutes at a time and maintains a comfortable 75 degrees! What’s more, even with the hotter temps and the lower thermostat setting, we already see a 10-12% reduction in our daily electricity demand. We couldn’t be happier with our new unit, and are especially grateful to Mike, Glenn and the entire Cooler Tymes team for their professionalism, courtesy and attention to detail. Keep up the good work!

Living in Arizona there's certain things you can't live without one of them is air conditioning. I've always feared having an issue with my air because of the cost and fear of not knowing what you're really getting. We made the mistake of trusting a large company for the Peace of Mind of having their name and warranty to back us up if anything were to go wrong. We were taken advantage of by a company named goettl and over charged for no service being done. They even were going to charge me $500 to order a request for them to perform an air duct quality test and have a specialist come out and let me know how much just to fix any issue would be. This was after paying $300 to have someone just look at my unit to see if it was up to par. I was discussing my horrible experience with friends and thank God I was referred to Mike at Cooler Tymes. He came out at no charge to look at my airflow. His knowledgeable professionalism told me my issue right there and told me upfront what the cost would be. He even went above and beyond and helped me get my money back from geottl. Mike is the owner of his company and is a upstanding good person. I will never use another company to fix any of my air conditioning issues and will refer him to anyone I know. This is by far the best experience I've ever had with a company

My York builders grade 10 SEER HVAC system was over 14 years old, extremely noisy and had to be repaired 2 years ago for $510. I knew it was time to upgrade. After reading great reviews on Yelp for Cooler Tymes and getting other estimates I decided Cooler Tymes should do the job. Mike is very knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and he quoted me what I thought was a good price on a 20 SEER Lennox system. A few days later it was installed in about 4 hours. Carlos, a perfectionist, did a great job with the installation. This Lennox system is extremely quiet and the S30 thermostat, like a mini iPad, is very versatile, programmable, and easy to use. I highly recommend Mike and Cooler Tymes for your a/c and heating needs.

Mike and his crew did an excellent job installing a complete new heating and A/C system in my home. . I have used Mike in the past for minor tune ups and went back to him when I was having major problems with my air conditioner. Mike engaged me in the process and gave me options and let me decided what was best for my long term situation. I find Mike to be very trustworthy and have the level of expertise to get the job done with all the latest technology and energy efficiency in mind. He also sensitive to the financial burden these type of services can have on the customer. He is an excellent communicator keeping me informed of the process using text and e mail. He prides himself in quality customer service and has high standards and core values. He is not satisfied unless he is completing a quality job with the full satisfaction of the customer. One of the most professional companies I have run across in years. I asked for an estimate for a new HVAC system to replace my 18+ yr old system. Mike and Glen showed up and interrogated my system, noticed upgraded insulation in the attic and upgraded windows. Asked the sq footage of the house, then decided to measure every room in the house. They reduced my requirement from 5 ton to 4 ton which saved me money. Four other companies came in to estimate before Cooler Tymes and did not interrogate as well as Mike and Glen. Did not reduce the tonnage. Mike and Glen were more concerned with what I needed than how much they could sell me. Just love it. Both men were onsite during the rip-out and install. The crew was efficient, courteous, and professional. Great job was done by all. Got excellent training on the new touch screen thermostat S30, which is amazing. The system is quiet inside and outside. Remarkable. Cannot recommend strong enough.

I couldn't be happier with Mike, Carlos, the entire crew of "Cooler Tymes" Not only do these guys know their business, they do it very well. Rarely will you find contractors this good. Some may do 1/2 way decent work but fall short on customer service, or perhaps the other way around. Mike and his whole team take extreme pride in their work and the only thing they care about is making the customer happy. I took 3 bids and Cooler Tymes was the first one. I knew before I got the other two that I'd be using them based on the personality and manner of Carlos (I'm an excellent judge of character). I only met Mike the day of the install and found that he posses the same traits. Incidentally the other two bids were about 35% higher.

Went great. Hadn't had our unit inspected in three years anyway, so even though it was found to be in fine working order, it was nice to have piece of mind about the entire system, which he checked thoroughly. Price was fine. Didn't volunteer the senior discount, but that was OK with me since his response time was so good and the inspection so thorough and he didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need.

Mike did a great job identifying and fixing problem with our AC. He came over soon after I contacted him, even though it was Sat. He was very knowledgeable and did not push us to buy anything we did not need. Since then AC is working great, will hire Mike again for routine AC maintenance.

Awesome, Mike is the best. Showed up right on time, let me know he was on his way. He didn't mind me watching and actually explained everything he was doing. He didn't upsell me or overcharge and educated me on how to best run my systems. Mike loves his work as he is very passionate about it and his knowledge is off the charts. It's hard to find people you can trust and are competent when it comes to this type of work, Mike has totally earned my trust. I wouldn't go with anyone else. I definitely recommend.
