Two years later a leak was detected due to improper installation of flashing. Canyon State did not correct the situation.

All estimates about the same but Canyon State was only one to offer to call our insurance co and deal direct with them.  And was willing to work with us regarding our deductible and balance owed.  Less than 2 days notice kept the next bid rain outside. Any problems arise, they will return.  Highly recommend!!

We get high winds at times and evidently many people needed roof repairs. So roofers in town were all quite busy.   I had only needed a roofer one time for the patio roof and I was not very satisfied with the work so I did not know whom to call.   I contacted Canyon State Enterprises on the recommendation of a local roofing material supplier and he is on
Angie's list.  The owner came himself, inspected the roof and reaffixed flashing which had come loose around a vent.

We had called another company prior to calling Canyon State and received a lower estimate from the first company, but the same 'problem statement' from both companies.  We wanted a second opinion on the issue before hiring someone to do the work.  Canyon State was recommended to us, so even though their price to repair our roof was $100 higher than the first company, we went with them.  They were very professional, came when they said they would, and did a good job repairing the problem and cleaning up.  We would use them again.

We originally contacted Canyon State to get an estimate on a new metal roof. We also contacted Aloha and A2Z. Aloha never showed up and A2Z would not do the work because of the extreme pitch of our roof and the location in the Hualapai's declined to do the work. 

The owner of Canyon State came to our house to give us the estimate. He actually came up a few days prior to our appointment, got on the roof, walked it and made measurements. When we met with him the first time he brought color samples and talked about different options, We received a bid a few days later and when we saw the price of metal we decided it was out of our budget and asked for a price on regular asphalt roofing. He suggested we also look at lightweight tile in addition to the asphalt and sent us a proposal for both. Seeing that the tile was not much more than the asphalt we went with the tile and also the special waterproof under-layment. When we also got the bid we noticed on the letterhead that his company did painting so we called and asked for an estimate on that. Seeing that their prices were in line with the other painters we decided to use them to paint the house AND do the roof, rather than deal with mutliple companies.

The work was accomplished as promised. A single mistake was made in that the wrong color paint was applied, to one side of the house. It was made right fast and at no charge. Clean up was accomplished and out house looks very nice.

My wife said, if a roof could be called beautiful, ours is.
