Countertop Creations contacted us after we called Costco about replacing our island granite countertop. Sales Representative came out as scheduled with samples, gave us a detailed quote on-the-spot, measuring appointment was on-time and installation team (Ken and team) was great! Jamie went above a beyond to make sure that everything went smoothly.

The subcontractors installed it. The guys who came out to do the installation were really good. They took the time and did everything right. The fabricator made a mistake with the size of the countertop in one bathroom but when they got it here, they noticed it. They had a new one the next day so they were really good about it. Their behavior was very nice.

We went through Costco for the countertops and Countertop Creations (CCI) is a contractor for them. Amber came to our home and walked us through material types (including samples), did preliminary measurements and provided written estimates. We decided to go with granite so we went to Arizona Tile to select our slabs and reserve them. We also went out and purchased a new stainless steel undermount sink as CCI said they would install the basin as part of their countertop installation.
CCI sent someone out to do detailed measurements and discuss installation with us. This is the ONLY gripe I have about this company. Our kitchen island has a raised and quot;barand quot; section that sits about 4 inches above the rest of the counter. Mounted on the 4 inch vertical portion of the counter are two electrical outlets and the switch for the garbage disposal. The rep took these measurements and said nothing about potential complications. More on that later.
Installation was scheduled for 3 weeks after measurements were taken. The installers were on time, very polite, and got right to work. They were careful with the removal of the old counters and prepping the cabinets for the new install. As they were removing the electrical outlets, one of the flush mounted junction boxes cracked, so the installer had me run down and buy a new one. No problem. It was then that he informed me that the vertical portion of the new granite tops weren't really wide enough to accommodate the outlets. He said you can't cut a 3 inch hole in a 4 inch piece of granite because it will crack. I asked how come the person who did detailed measurements didn't recognize that and got an answer that neither sufficed nor pleased me. NOW...he did go ahead and carefully cut the 4 inch granite and he didn't crack it, so kudos to his personal skill level. When he went to install it; however, he found he could not flush mount the junction boxes any more - they had to be recessed. This means that if there is ever a problem with the box (which where was when my wife and I put the outlet covers back on), we would have to go through the drywall side of the island to access it. HURRAY! You mean to tell me this was the first house that has ever had this type of setup??? We live in a Fulton mass-produced home so there have to be others out there built the same way! So now we can't use one of the electrical outlets. Not a catastrophe, but a pain!
The rest of the installation was completed and the new sink installed. If it weren't for the and quot;surpriseand quot; about the 4 inch piece, I would rate these guys 110%. But I really feel that someone from CCI should have been able to identify that prior to installation so we could have had someone come in and build up and/or rebuild that section of the island. Would we use them again - YES, with more homework and questions asked next time.

They treated me like my order really mattered to them, even though it was quite small. They even went so far as to deliver for free because of their concerns about how fragile the material is. They were prompt, courteous, and went out of their way to fill my order.

The project went well. They were prompt and professional. They gave us a week's advanced notice so that we could do the removals. They were responsive to phone calls and questions. They did an excellent job and there was no problem with clean-up.

The 2 man crew who came out to install the countertops were very nice and you could tell they really knew what they were doing. The fabrication was well done and so was the install.
