About us

Our owners, Ben Anderson and Danny Loya, have been in business since 1995. They established GG Tile & Stone (GGTS) in 2001 as a tile installation company in the Green Valley and Southern AZ. Their vision was to create a company that was big enough to handle all our customers’ needs and small enough to provide each client with personalized service.

Working with them was a pleasure. They were prompt and responsive and did an excellent job. We only had four spare tiles to replace the damaged ones. By careful cutting and reusing old tiles Fernando was able to get by using just three of the spares. It is in the middle of the room and the result was seamless. It was a small job but they gave it full attention and expertise. They were the lowest of the three bids we got and the most professional in the way they handled the job.

ORIGINAL INSTALLATION WAS PROBLEMATIC IN THAT THEY SENT IN THE "C" TEAM JUST ARRIVED FROM MEXICO AND THE FLOOR DID NOT HEAT AND HAD TO BE SUBSTANTIALLY REINSTALLED.  VERY SLOPPY WORKMANSHIP.  NOW (12/14) THE FLOOR IS NOT WORKING AGAIN AND THEY REFUSE TO EVEN INTERFACE WITH THE MANUFACTURER FOR WARRANTY SERVICE.

Within 2 months the grout had started to come up.  The company came and repaired the grout.  As the months went by more and more grout was coming up.  After about a year. I contacted the company to complain.  They presented me with an estimate to repair the grout.  I told them  I believed that the poor workmanship was their problem and that I would not pay them for the repairs.
They said it was not their problem. Their answer to the problem was that "the dog did it"!..  Several contractors and a grout representative have stated that the problem was how the grout was mixed. Their opinions were that too much water was added to the mix.  So we are at a stalemate. They still insist that the dog has dug out the grout, in some places all the way down to the floor.  I am looking at taking them to court to sue for the amount of the repairs.
Response from G G Tile & Stone Inc
"It’s interesting that this is the same job that Ms. [member name removed] gave us an “A” review in January 2011. She notes in her original comments that our owner did a final walk-through with her to inspect the workmanship and that everything was completed satisfactorily. In addition, we provided her with a two year warranty on our workmanship. She made her first warranty claim during the first year when her dog scratched out the grout around the house. She made a second claim during the second year as a result of the same issue. Although the grout problem was not related to our workmanship, as a customer service gesture, GG Tile made grout repairs for Ms. [member name removed] both times at no charge. Now, 4 years later when her job is out of warranty, she is again requesting additional grout repairs at no charge. The Arizona Registrar of Contractors, Arizona’s licensing and oversight agency, has been to Ms. [member name removed]’s home to inspect the work and has ruled that the job was completed to industry standards and that Ms. [member name removed] is not due further free repairs. Since no grout lasts forever and many factors affect its longevity, expecting a lifetime warranty is not realistic. GG Tile appreciates Ms. [member name removed]’s business and would be pleased to make the repairs at a small charge as she was quoted."

I bought a townhome with some carpet and some tile. I wanted to replace the carpet with ceramic tile.  The staff was most helpful in assisting me with the selection of the new tile and with providing me with a firm estimate.  The work was accomplished on schedule and the results look great.  I am most pleased with the end result and would recommend GG Tile as well as use them in the future.

The job went on a timely manner, product  was excellent, follow up when there was a few things that needed to be resolved was somewhat slow. Overall I would use GG tile and Stone again. In fact I went to the showroom recently and it was closed so they must of moved, I thought they were out of business. I used Dano tile for the recent job and could not be more unhappy. So sorry I did not realize GG tile was still in business and in Green Valley. (MY LOSS)

IT went very well. Took about 8 days. Had some personal problems during this time and they were very accommading. Worked on a Saturday. They are coming for a final inspection and talked to me about looking for any problems that need to be corrected. (I have not found any as yet).

Since I was not living in this house at the time of this installation I agreed to have this work done sporadically as long as it was finished by June 1. We worked with one of the owners, Danny, who was very helpful in offering suggestions on design and layout. He is a second generation tile person who is very knowledgeable. They have a nice showroom with samples of tiles to see and design.

Perfect job, no hassles. It looks great. Actually was completed in two days, shorter time than anticipated. This was the most reasonable price I obtained and they went the extra mile. Cleaned up after the job, leaving my garage cleaner than before!

They were excellent and very patient in helping us to select the perfect tile. The installers were very professional. This installation required shifting from parallel to diagonal patterns and some difficult fittings.

MY WIFE IS VERY SATISFIED WITH THE WAY IT TURNED OUT. THE MEN DID A GREAT JOB. THEY DIDN'T MESS AROUND, AND THEY REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. WE ARE BOTH VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS.
