We had a small job, with existing niches: decided to fill in the center niche, then hang a 55” TV on the wall. Also we planned to change our existing tuner and sound system, which meant doing some rewiring and setting up. Doing some research, we were impressed with both the Thunderbird website and the reviews we found on Angie’s List. We liked the fact that Thunderbird is a small company run by a husband and wife team. Our experience with Thunderbird went well beyond our expectations. Proudly, we keep showing our friends the end result and praising Thunderbird, so it is with pleasure that we share our experiences with this site. From the first visit by their representative Matt, we felt we made the right decision. This was a small job, but we were treated as if they were doing a major design and reconstruction. As soon as we signed the contract and approved the design, we were given a start date, and a completion date. Before the start date, via email, we received a total schedule, listing the start time and schedule for each day. Very professional presentation. And, indeed, Thunderbird kept fully on schedule. As I wrote to Thunderbird immediately following completion [on the third day], from Alberto, to Charlie, to William and Ashton, the work and the experience was spectacular. Matt who was our initial contact person, and Chad, who was the project supervisor, were great partners in making everything work so well. In the office, Jamie and Rachel were also friendly, organized, and professional. Simply, we could not have asked for more, and we felt the project cost was right on target; I would not hesitate to hire Thunderbird Custom Design!

We are very pleased with the work done. From start to finish everyone we dealt with was professional and knowledgeable. We were regularly kept up to date on the schedule and all of our questions were addressed promptly. The outcome is beautiful and we'd definitely recommend TCD to anyone looking to put in a media wall.

We contacted Thunderbird Custom Design after initially seeing the project portfolio and reviews online. Brandon met with us for the initial consultation, and Jamie met with us a weeks later for the design review consultation. The media wall design they came up with was beautiful, creative, and exceeded our expectations. The project planning, organization, and communication was exceptional; we were provided with a schedule letter prior to start of work and Thunderbird completed the project on-time. Their staff was professional, organized, and well-prepared to complete their tasks. The quality of work and attention to detail was impeccable. We made a few minor design changes after the project started and Thunderbird was very accommodating in working with us on those. After work was completed, we had a very small punch-list of clean up items, which were promptly addressed. Overall, it was a smooth process and we're very happy with the result.
