Romulo Landscaping

The work progressed fine until it got to removing the grass that had grown inside the pebbled perimeter areas of the back yard and inside the vegetable planter. Instead of removing the grass, they cut it short to the ground without removing its roots as Romulo had agreed to do. When I asked him to remove the grass roots, he said he would instead kill the grass roots with a herbicide spray. When I suggested that a herbicide that is meant to kill weeds usually will not kill grass, he explained that he would use another type of herbicide to kill the grass. I asked to see both the weed herbicide and the grass herbicide. He showed me two containers; however, upon reading the active ingredients on the label of each container their active ingredients proved to be exactly the same - verbatim. When I challenged the herbicide story, Romulo then said he did not want to complete the job. I payed him for the work that was done and he left. Do I think I got my moneys worth? Definitely not. They left my back yard in disarray, and now I have to find someone else to clean up their mess and complete the job.
