I had a coolant leak inside of my BMW X5. I took it in for service here. I was somewhat skeptical to bring my German car here because I didn't know if any technicians should be familiar with how to work on it. They discovered that the radiator itself was fine and that the hoses were leaking. They were able to get the hoses the same day. While replacing the hoses, the mechanic broke my radiator fan. Instead of trying to cover it up, they immediately told made me aware and ordered me a new fan. It took them a couple of days to get the part in but they replaced it free of charge. They also replaced my brake fluid and my battery. I would highly recommend them based on their honesty.

Went in to get estimate cost and have some repairs done as well as needed maintenance services. I had to leave the car there for most of the day and had no way of getting home. The manager was kind enough to arrange for me to get home. They were honest in telling me that a recommended repair was not needed which saved me about $400.00. The car was completed at the promised time; very easy and smooth transaction. The workers there love being there and it shows in their attitude and professionalism. I would definitely recommend his place to anybody looking for honest and quality repairs.

I had originally taken my vehicle to the dealership for an oil change about two weeks prior to my visit to Firestone. I was told that the upper radiator hose was seeping pretty bad and would need to be replaced. I found their quote a bit steep so I decided to take it in to Firestone for a second opinion. Not only was the price comparable but it turns out the lower one was seeping too? Wow, imagine that. It only makes sense since both hoses are the same age. The wait time was a bit longer than I expected but that was only because the hose needed to be ordered. The coffee was delicious! I had both radiator hoses replaced at a lower price than what I would have paid if I had taken the car to just have the upper radiator hose replaced at the dealership. I will continue to use this provider for my auto care needs.

My check engine light came on they replaced one spark plug and ignition wire set . The Tech noticed some other things like heater hose spongy and oil leak from engine gasket so they replaced them . They took tow days to repair it when I went to pick it up my check engine light came back truck was running rough . I was so bummed out spending all that money for my truck running bad. That night on my way to work engine running rough lost one night of work I took it in the following morning and found a loose spark plug wire.

Battery replacement

Had them do a basic oil change. Everything went well. Good value. I will use them again.

The bad part of this story as I reviewed this auto repair shop from Angie's List and they had several good reviews (A;s) The whole experience left me scratching my head. I took the vehicle in @ 7am in the morning. They informed me that it is $50/ half hour for diagnostic work and could be near a $100 for the hour. They asked when I needed the vehicle back and I said at 3 pm. I finally got a call around 3:30 pm and the guy told me they found the problem with the car. The guy told told me it was light control module that was a dealer item only and would cost a little over $500. They had performed about $200 worth of diagnostic work and it would cost me about $50 to get the part installed. The total would be a little over $730. I told them to go ahead and order the part as it had to overnighted to the facility.
I then got on the computer and researched for the cost of the module. It seems the vehicle I own has a history with this module going out. I found several on ebay and other auto part store for $150 to $200. When I did a little more research, I found out it was not a dealer item only. I called Firestone back and told them what I had found out. They told me they couldn't install these parts because they are not new but refurbished products. I told them to cancel the order for the $500 module and I would pick up my vehicle as soon as I could. About an hour later, Firestone called me back and said they found an "after-market" module for $297. All of a sudden the price was $200 lower. I told them I didn't want them to order it as I had already ordered it for $150 from another place.
I went to pick up the vehicle today and was charged $53 for the diagnostic. I have no idea why the price dropped from $200 for the diagnostic service to $53 but I didn't ask any questions. I paid them, got the car back.
If I had not looked into this I would have been out over $500. Something is wrong.

At the service visit itself, it went well. The guys were friendly, prompt and professional.

The thing I like the most about this Firestone is their conscientiousness about doing the right thing. I went in and asked them to do an oil change and fix my filter. They said I wasn't due yet for an oil change and read above for the air filter change. So many garages would take advantage of a female who comes in not knowing what to do with her car. They don't do that. They only do what's needed, and they don't charge if it's just a quick look, or air in the tires, or checking for damage. LOVE them.

They pointed out a few things on my vehicle that could possibly be broken and what the associated charges might be. The pricing was very good. It was lower than anything else I saw. The service was very quick. I didn't have to wait too long at all. The staff was friendly and professional.
