Cluff Mechanical Heating & Air Conditioning

My daughter lived in her home two years and never had the A/C looked at so I scheduled Cluff Mechanical to take a look. Tom showed up on time and was friendly and professional. He advised on the condition of the unit and gave it a thorough inspection. I would recommend Cluff Mechanical to anyone looking for a contractor who clearly has no patience for short cuts and is honest, prompt and great to work with.

Removal of the old Trane units and replacing them with new units went well. Except they had a new guy working here (trainee) who left several things undone that they had to come back and fix. But they did come back and fix them.  The price of this job included a service contract (I think it was a 2 year service contract but I don't recall now) and the problem was getting them to come back and do the service. I had to run them down and then when they came out they questioned whether the service contract covered the visit or if it was a repair call which I had to pay for. So, for those who might be considering using this contractor I can say that Clint is competent and willing and I was satisfied with his work. Clint came back and went the extra mile to get the new equipment up and working. I can't vouch for anyone else working there. And they need to get their service contract better defined and organized. A note on Trane. I bought Trane because I thought it was the best. But a fan motor and a touchpad control died in the first few months. Train replaced them under warranty but it still made me wonder about Trane quality. And the Trane clean effects air cleaner system was a waste of money. It is now 2015 and the Trane units have been trouble free for several years. Most of my problems came from getting new (expensive but problematic) Trane equipment running and that had a tendency to make Clint look bad. But I give Clint a high rating because most of the problems were with new equipment that failed but he stuck with me and got it all running. So I would hire Clint again but I probably wouldn't hire Cluff Mechanical again because I am not sure about the other people working there.

They were fantastic.  The service was great and their customer service was awesome.  They came when they said they would be here and took care of everything I needed.

Have been using Cluff Mechanical for a couple of years now. Initially for service then the end of last summer had to replace 1 unit. Always prompt and full of practical advice. Also use for my businesses a/c and swamp cooler maintenance. Honest, efficient and dependable. Great company!
