VELARDE FLOOR COVERING

I am a repeat customer of Velarde Flooring. I had carpet installed by them in 2011. This contract was for the demolishing of existing tile and installation of new tile. Everything went as expected. I had researched tile removal, so I knew I had a mess on my hands. I did the prep work myself, because I wanted to minimize the dust and residue in the kitchen and bedrooms. The demolishing team worked long and hard. I was extremely impressed by Senor Velarde, The owner's father who is at least in his 60s. The tile installed, Mario Maldonado, was very professional and easy to work with. He worked 10-11 hours daily, installing all of the tile himself. He promptly showed up at 5:30-6:00a.m.daily and was willing to work on a Sunday, but I told him that as hard as he worked, he needed a day of rest! He quickly and without any agitation, removed two tiles that I noticed had defects. I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend this family business to others.
