The trenching was intending to begin on 9/19 and to be completed by 22nd of the same week. I received a call from their office stating the project plans were (Red Lined) by city and they wouldn't be able to trench on 26th and return o the 29th to backfill and tidy up. Instead of trenching being completed on 26th as promised, it took them (3) days to finish that part of the project. When I called TRI-FIT to inquire about the timeline discrepancy , I was told that they didn't expect the amount of rocks and palm tree roots that they ambiguously expected. I told them that Corey had measured the property and was aware of the amount of rocks and palm tree roots on property "just like any other landscape they deal with". Furthermore, I asked them if they had received approval from the city yet on the project plans. Their response was that the city hadn't given approval yet. My question is, "the premise of not stating the project on time was due to not having approval from city; therefore, why couldn't you have started the project on day as promised. In short, I was left unfilled trench and torn up property for (6) days while Tri=Fit couldn't care less about inconvenience it caused myself and my animals. Finally, Oct,5th they received finial approval from city and returned to "supposedly" backfill and tidy up. They had to return again on the 14th to repair (broken lines) and to reset walking stone into ground that they didn't fix on 5th. The worst of this nightmare came yesterday when I received the finial invoice . When Corey came to my property on 13th of Sept, he quoted me price of $1989.00 for complete project. I asked him if there would be additional charges on top of quote; he stated that tis would be finial due amount. I received invoice from Tru-Fit yesterday for$2250.00. I immediately called their office and spoke to Katrina about the discrepancy in price. She stated that they needed more sleevings for pipes due to abundance of rocks and roots. I told her that your rep who quoted me originally looked over property and quoted me $1989, and that's all I was paying .She became "very rude and defensive" and stated "fi ne, we will eat the cost .In closing, this is prime example of price gouging and unethical business practices. Angie's list is usually spot on about referrals, but not in this case!

The leak was between the meter and the house so the gas company would not repair it, claiming it was our responsibility as homeowners. Unfortunately, the gas meter was not on our property, it was on Yavapai county property, and the gas line ran through a wash (also owned by the county) from the meter to the house. This made a simple repair extremely complicated. As we jumped through hoops for the county, getting blue stake markings and permits and trying to find old paperwork on easements from years ago before we even owned the property, Tri-Fit was there to provide guidance and suggestions as we attempted to navigate the red tape. They made several trips up to the house during inspections and gas line tracings, all in an attempt to help us out and make sure we weren't getting taken advantage of. These guys were amazing, Cory Sautter, especially. It was so nice to have someone there to have our backs and to "be on our side". Thank you so much, Cory and the rest of the team! I can't stress enough how much I recommend you call Cory if you have any type of gas piping repairs or gas line installation to do.
