They came in and were very quick. They didn't charge me a thing. This last visit would be straight A's. I was extremely happy with everything.

Quite frankly, they haven’t had to do any work.  They come in, they do the inspections, and if they find some other things, they take care of it.  They haven’t found anything major since they have been doing this for me.  Otherwise, they are very efficient and punctual.  They do it the same time every year and they make contact.

It has been a pretty good experience. It is $130 per year. They are always ready for me. One time the work wasn't real good.

I will not use them again.  I paid them for fourteen years but I've had problems every single year.  It's gone from bad to worse so I finally dumped them last month. Our home has not been inspected for termites in the past three years.  They were recommended to me by my mother who lives in San Diego. They are expensive with price increases every year. $400 + yearly for just termite protection and still have termites swarming every year.  I called and was asked if I'm sure they are not ants.  I know the difference between ants and termites. Schedule appointments result in no show.  When they did turn up, milled around for 5-10 minutes & split.  I will not recommend them.

Over the past 13 yrs their service has constantly declined. I have placed many calls that are either not returned or are ignored. In addition we have had thousands of termites swarm several times EVERY year, crawl out from underside of house a few inside. The bait stations were removed a few years back and was told by technician they don't use them any longer. One year a manager told me I probably saw ants not termites. When he finally came out, I had collected some in a jar to prove not ants. He agreed they were termites... Geez!  For all I know we could have the Formosan subterranean termites which have never been eradicated from an area.
To add insult to injury Terminix did not show ONE time in 2012. Manager would not apply credit for the previous year so paid in full again for 2013. Still have no protection against termites, will NOT renew contract or refer them again.

2008: Terminix's inspector came out and did a thorough inspection of our house. In comparing other companies' bids back in 2008, Terminix's price for tenting our house was competitively priced. The other repairs recommended were much more exaggerated than the other companies; in other words, they recommended that more repairs be made than were "perhaps" necessary.  What was very upsetting to us was stepping out onto our deck the next day and finding numerous chunks of wood chipped out of the handrails, decking, etc. Our handrails are painted white, so the one- to two-inch chunks of wood missing from about 15 sections was very obvioius, compounded by the fact that we put off having the house tented and the deck replaced to now,  Nov. 2012. The inspector did not ask for permission or explain that this act would be necessary to check for dry rot.  We had three other companies come out, and Terminix was the only company who left such an unsightly "trail" behind.
Fast forward to 2012:
I called Terminix back, as well as the three other companies, to get updated pricing on just tenting. We are removing the entire deck and rebuilding it next week, and want to have the tenting done at the same time. No inspection was necessary. I called the local number and set up a time for between 8 and 10 this morning. I stayed home just for this purpose. at 10:15 I had to leave for a meeting.  At 4:45 I called their office to report that not only did no one ever show up during the two-hour block of time that they set up, but no one even gave me the courtesy of a call.
Asking for a two-hour block of time is appropriate when it is a service call, such as a repairman or gas company. A company which is soliciting one's business should not expect to ask customers to wait around for two hours in order to get a bid on work which they will be paid for! Then to not show up at all....
I am sticking with a family-owned local business, which is my general practice anyway.  This other company is coming out next week to tent/fumigate the house. I will write that review then.

We have been using their services for about 10 years. They only charge about $280 annually. Brian that works for them is outstanding! They are a very good company and they try very hard to please their customers. If you ever have a problem, they handle it very well.
