We are a locally owned and operated TV and Appliance company that has been servicingthe valley for over 42 years. We recently had the honor of being named the valley #1 appliance store for 2014. Ouor company has 11 locations throughout the valley and we continue to grow thans to the many repeat customers who refer their friends to us so thatthey can get the same great customer service.

While the merchandise and pricing were terrific, the customer service was horrible. There was a delay in delivery which Spencer's did not inform be about and I had to call them to find out what was going on. Then there was a specialty installation which cost extra. They did not inform me of this either, but to their credit did cover the charges from the installer. The only reason I did not cancel my order and go somewhere else was the price, which was far lower than their competitors. This may be why they can get away with lousy customer service.

They sold me the appliance.  It wasn't a service, other than salesmanship, but, they were as reasonable as anyone for the appliance.  It worked out very well, they were on time, and did their installation very well.  They sale the appliance, contract to another company for installation, so, I guess it isn't Spencer's doing the installing.  I bought from them in September of 2010 and recently made some purchases a couple of weeks ago.  I don't have any reason to downgrade them.  I will use them again in the future if possible.

We have been dealing with them for years. They are priced very good and the salesmen actually know what they are selling. Every piece was hand picked and they had them delivered on time. We are very happy with them.

3 days after the tv was delivered, it stopped working (no picture, no sound). When I called Spencers and asked what they were going to do about it, they said my only option was to have it repaired. Repairman came out the next day & said the problem was in the programming, he reset the set-up & tv worked, for about 2 hrs. Called Spencers and asked that the tv be replaced. they refused saying that if they did that ''We'd have people expecting a replacement if they didn't like the color of the knobs.'' After 2 more visits from the repairmen and 2 days in the shop, they did manage to fix the problem. 2 1/2 yrs later the set died completely, confirming my feeling that it was a lemon in the first place. I have tv's which are 15-20 yrs old & they work prefectly & I believe that it should have worked longer than 2 1/2 yrs. My feeling is that Spencer's customer service policy is ''Take the money and Run'' Would never do business with them again, nor would any of my family.

I BOUGHT A REFRIGERATOR FROM THIS COMPANY. ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY, NOBODY SHOWED. ON THE SECOND TRY, THE FRIDGE WAS DELIVERED, BUT A DOOR WAS DAMAGED. IT WAS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET THEM TO ORDER A REPLACEMENT DOOR. WHEN IT FINALLY ARRIVED (SEVERAL MONTHS LATER), I WENT THROUGH THE SAME CYCLE AGAIN: ON THE DAY OF DELIVERY, NOBODY SHOWED; ON THE SECOND TRY, I WAITED UNTIL SIX IN THE EVENING WHEN THE REPLACEMENT DOOR FINALLY ARRIVED. AFTER ALL THE HASSLE, I WAS SURPRISED ABOUT HOW FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT THE DELIVERY MAN WAS. OVERALL MY EXPERIENCE WAS LOUSY, THOUGH.

OUR INITIAL EXPERIENCE AT THE STORE WAS NOT GOOD. HOWEVER, OUR SALESMAN, LELAND CHRISTEN, DID A GREAT JOB MEETING AND BEATING THE PRICES FROM OTHER STORES. SPENCER'S OFFERS PACKAGE PRICING, WHICH REALLY YIELDED SAVINGS. THEIR INSTALLATION PRICES BEAT EVERYONE IN TOWN. SPENCER'S DID HAVE SOME INVENTORY PROBLEMS. THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE FRIDGE WE ORDERED IN STOCK, SO THEY UPGRADED US. SAME WITH THE DISPOSAL. THEIR INSTALLERS ARE TOP NOTCH!
