I had 2 technicians that came out to look at my stove when I had the warranty and they told me it was up to code. The white part on the stove top gets extremely hot. The stove top also caves in from the heat if you are cooking anything on it at all to the point we had to put bricks under it. Bill came out the last time and he did a good job explaining everything. He told me who made each appliance and gave honest good advice about appliances. He also confirmed that the element in the stove top was over heating and needed replaced however the warranty has now expired. I am giving the Kenmore stove away. I have been a Sears customer since 1974 and have never had a problem like this. I am never going to buy anything from Sears again.

We had to wait a long time and they were not right so we took the glasses back to get adjusted and they are still not right. I would tell someone to go somewhere else. We had to wait forever because the lady was on the phone instead of helping a customer in the store.
