Are you kidding? Prado and Sons were half the price of the other major pool remodelers that bid my job. The guy that came to quote really knew his stuff. The ladies in their office were knowledgeable, friendly and always worked around OUR schedule. And the quality and look of the finished job is spectacular (REAL Pebble Tech product - no cheap imitation). We love our new pool and it came with a full five year warranty on both material and labor. Good luck finding a better pool remodel deal all the way around.

Great! They took a little longer to get here than originally estimated but they were very professional when they came to do the job. VERY satisified with the work. It has been nearly a year and it still looks brand new!

It all went well - from the salesman through all the the various crews. Very professional. Excellent results. No complaints.

I cannot speak more highly of this company! From start to finish they were by far the most fair priced, experts in their field and professionally run company I've ever worked with. The women in the office, the men on the job site all took time to explain the process. They present you with a clear easy to understand contract. They tell you the schedule and what to expect. They leave you a complete set of written instructions on how to care for your newly finished pool. And for the first time in 20 years I felt like I was not getting the " Scottsdale" price on services. I had several questions through out the process and each was answered with assurance. I had received bids of nearly twice the amount of what Prado and Son's quoted me for the exact same service! Prado and Son's is only one of two or three certified applicators/installers of Pebble Tec/Sheen in the Valley. The rest are all dealers and you pay a premium for that man-in-the middle. And if you call Pebble Tec they really don't make that very clear to the consumer. I had one pool company tell me I could NOTuse Prado and Son's because I was not a builder which was nothing but a bold face lie. I'm so glad I called them and double checked.
Side note: Four weeks earlier I had hired Goods Custom Pool to fix the outside negative edge wall, rolled bond-beam and replace all waterline tile in my Pebble Tec pool. They never warned me that draining a 10 year-old pebble tec pool in 100 degree heat might damage the finish of the interior pool. Apparently, everybody else in the valley was aware of this. The inside pool finish was badly damaged with many bald spots. After already giving them over $5,000 they quoted me another $7,500 to fix the inside!!!! As they say, "fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me"

The quote was comparable experience to everyone else. -The first person to come out to work was the guy who fixed the spa. He did an amazing job fixing the concrete and then repainting it to match the existing border. -The guys who came to get rid of the plaster were awful. They left trash all over, my daughter found one of them going through our garbage, and they forced open our RV gate instead of asking my husband (who was at home the entire home) to open it for them. -The guys that did the tile were really good. The tile looks wonderful and we didn't have any problems with them around our home. -Then the guys came to apply the pebblesheen. Similar problems to the demo crew. The quality/cleanup was OK, but not spectacular. -They had to adjust our schedule by a few days, but they did a good job of calling us to keep us informed. There were a few minor cleanup things at the end that we had to resolve ourselves. -If it wasn't for the level of supervision from the demo type crews we would probably use them again, however I did not feel that they respected our home and I didn't feel comfortable having them around. Overall I am happy with the finished quality of the pool.

They were very professional and did an excellent job. They told me how to keep the chemicals to make the pool look it's best. They went above and beyond on this job for me and I really felt like I got my money's worth with them.

I could not possibly limit my comments about this experience to 1,000 characters. Eight weeks in to this remodel that was supposed to take 3-4 weeks, I had to write a 6 page letter to the president of the company in order to get my pool in some type of working condition. There were quite a few days when work was scheduled and I sat home waiting for crews that never showed up, the communication from the office was almost non-existent. Clean-up was shoddy at best. The quality of work that WAS completed was often substandard, and many things had to be corrected/repaired after installation. This job was really a joke from start to finish; everything that could possibly go wrong, did. For an almost $14,000 remodel, I expected much better service, communication and professionalism.

IT HAS BEEN A CHALLENGING EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. MOST OF IT WENT SMOOTHLY, EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING: 1) THE PLASTER MIXTURE HAD METAL IN IT, WHICH HAS RESULTED IN LITTLE RUST STAINS THROUGHOUT THE POOL. BECAUSE OF THIS, THEY WILL BE REPLASTERING THE POOL THIS FALL. TO THEIR CREDIT, AT LEAST THEY ARE GOING TO FIX IT. 2) THE DIVING BOARD WAS PUT IN CROOKED AND THEY PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE RELAID THE FOOTING FURTHER BACK, SINCE IT IS A BIGGER DIVING BOARD THAN WHAT WE REPLACED. THEY FIXED THE CROOKED DIVING BOARD BUT DIDN'T MOVE IT FURTHER BACK. 3) THE AQUACLEAR SYSTEM HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE. WE BELIEVE THE SYSTEM ITSELF WORKS BUT THE INSTALLER/OWNER OF THE ONLY SERVICE COMPANY IN ARIZONA, ROBIN, IS A NIGHTMARE TO WORK WITH. HE DID NOT RESPOND TO QUESTIONS/CONCERNS ABOUT THE SYSTEM AND WE ARE GETTING ALGAE IN THE POOL!!! WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF RIPPING THE SYSTEM OUT AND GETTING OUR MONEY BACK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SYSTEM TO ANYONE!!!!

POOL WAS DRAINED ON 5/31 AND NOT RESURFACED UNTIL 6/30. THIS COMPANY HAS NO REGARD FOR YOUR TIME OR YOUR BUSINESS. THEY DO NOT RETURN PHONE CALLS UNLESS REPEATEDLY CONTACTED AND THEY CHANGE THEIR SCHEDULE WITHOUT NOTIFICATION. THE ONLY THING THEY DID QUICKLY WAS CASH OUR CHECKS.

WE GATHERED INFORMATION AND INTERVIEWED 5 COMPANIES. WE WERE GIVEN ESTIMATES FROM EACH ONE. WE HAD SEVERAL SPECIAL DETAILS THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED. PRADO AND SONS PROVIDED THE MOST PRACTICAL PRODUCT IN RESURFACING THE POOL CALLED 'FINEST FINISH' AS WELL AS MEETING OUR SPECIFIC NEEDS. THEY COORDINATED THEIR EFFORTS WITH ANOTHER COMPANY TO RESURFACE OUR DECK AND PATIO AND MEET OUR SPECIAL REQUEST OF A 12 FOOT WIDE BORDER AROUND THE POOL. THEY WERE COURTEOUS, ON TIME, AND SENSITIVE TO OUR QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS. WE HAVE HAD SOME MINOR CRACKING AND CHIPPING WITH THE RESURFACING ON THE CANTILEVER BORDER. THESE ISSUES WERE ADDRESSED AND FOLLOWED UP QUICKLY AS THEY REAPPLIED NEW RESURFACING PRODUCT. I AM EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE RESULT AND WITH THE PROFESSIONALISM THESE TWO COMPANIES HAVE PROVIDED.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAVE HAD TO CALL THEM OUT A COUPLE OF TIMES SINCE THE POOL WAS COMPLETED TO REPAIR AREAS OF THE PEBBLE SHEEN. THEY PUT US ON THE SCHEDULE WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED AND NO INVOICE FOR THE ADD'L SERVICE SINCE THE POOL IS UNDER WARRANTY AND THE REPAIR IS RELATED TO WARRANTY WORK.

OUT OF THREE BIDS THEY WERE THE BEST. THEY WERE ON SCHEDULE WITH EACH PORTION. GOOD COMMUNICATION. VERY PLEASED WITH FINISHED PRODUCT.
