We contacted Omega Landscaping to perform an install of 750 sq ft of pavers along with a built in grill, led lighting, irrigation, boulders, gravel and a river bed. We were given an estimate on 05/15/18 and told that they could start the install within 2-3 weeks. 6 weeks later they finally started the install after all our out of town guest had left, which we were hoping would be able to enjoy the new backyard with us. I spoke with John Katsaros, the owner, about the possibility of the pavers sinking over time but he assured me that they way they install them they would not move. I brought this concern up again when they started to work on the pathway from the backyard to the front of the driveway. The area between our yard and the neighbors slopes down to the property line. I told John it looks like the dirt mound they were building up would eventually wash down into this slope. He told me the pavers were cemented in and would not move. 2 months later after many rainy days the pathway dropped around 12 inches and the pavers were in disarray just like I thought. I called and text but he would not respond. After emailing his assistant, he finally called back after 2 months of waiting. For the next 6 months he gave me the run around with every excuse he could come up with, trying to make himself look like the victim. He promised me he would make it right but unfortunately his version of making it right was to grab one of the landscapers that he didn't know that was working on another house in the neighborhood and pay him $50 to have him break up the concrete that was holding the pavers in some kind of order and just relay them. The guy did not build up the ground were it sank or cement the pavers back in place so now I have a potential liability on my hands since part of the path way is loose pavers. After hounding him for a month after that he said he would pull the pathway up rebuild the ground lay the pavers and cement them back in place. Then he had the audacity to ask me to split the bill after all this. We live in a newly constructed neighborhood and he blamed the settling on the utility trenches not being compacted correctly. He stated the trench runs right under my pavers. I had the Lennar building inspector come out to confirm that the trenches do not run under the pathway and that Omega Landscaping should fix their mistake. There were a bunch of other issues with this dirt bag along the way but this is the problem I need fixed
