New Life Roofing

They were on time and they were done when they were supposed to be. They were very professional about cleaning up their mess. Their pricing is very good. I thought it was going to be more than it was.

Great! The estimator arrived almost before I finished calling for an estimate. He was very thorough, and New Life was the only company which estimated our job without including porch areas that had been replaced recently due to wind damage. The bid was reasonable, and they were willing to schedule the work around my Spring Break. They arrived very early on the day scheduled, and finished the following day. They kept the area very clean, and worked around plants and a very large (friendly) puppy. The cleanup of the old roof took only a few hours, and they left absolutely nothing! I think I found one small scrap of tar paper that the puppy picked up -- otherwise you would never know they had been working. The roof looks great! We love the upgraded composition shingles, and of course there are no leaks! The actual cost was slightly lower than the estimate. Doing business with this company was a real pleasure.

I called and asked if someone could come out and take a look at my roof that just got installed and they (Dick) was at my house in a matter of hours. He went up and did an inspection and let me know all the was right or wrong with my new roof. If in the future if I need my roof replaced or fixed I will be calling New Life Roofing, Dick was very helpful and informative and pleasant to work with.

Very professional and courteous throughout the whole process. Were able to start job, one week after I called. The old roof was removed in less than a day and the areas around the house were well cleaned up. Tarps were layed to protect the plants. I only found a few scraps of old shingle after the job was completed, but considering the magnitude of the work, this was entirely acceptable. The roof was then put on by one wonderful man, who worked long hours and completed the job in a little more than two days. My husband is a construction superintendent and extremely critical and even he was pleased and impressed by the work. They asked for no money in advance and just today (1 month after completion) did a man come around to do a final inspection and paint the pipes(?).

I'd recommend New Life without reservation. They were professional in all ways. Their estimator was courteous and on time for all the appointments. The tear off crew cleaned up after themselves and the roofers were extremely good. The final product looks amazing. The only small hiccup we had was that the estimator missed a second layer of shingles that weren't a part of the original quote. (It was mentioned verbally that their assumption was one layer at the time we were given the quote). So our final bill ended up a hair higher that it was originally estimated. Normally this would be a concern, but their estimator mentioned it, and they brought it to our attention at the time of tear off. So there were no last minute surprises.

They called and made an appointment for the next day. They promptly arrived and did the required work. The turbines work fine with no leaks in the roof.

Excellent! We had some wind damage where tiles had broken off the roof. I called them based on searching Angie's List. They said they had a significant back log but assured me that no water damage would occur since the underlayment is what really protects against water. They said they would squeeze me in when they got a chance. I said okay. They repaired it within days. Great service!

They did a wonderful job. They cleaned up nicely. They came when they said they would. We had to wait because they had many jobs before us, but we were informed of that beforehand. The president of the company came out to talk to us after the job was completed. It could not have been any better!

They did a very good job. Their prices were in line with other bids that we received. Their estimate was right in line with the final bill. They came in, did the job, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. you couldn't even tell that they had been here!

They did everything they said they were going to do.

It went great! They fixed a leak that two other companies failed to fix. This is the second time New Life fixed a leak for me that other companies tried to fix and could not. I bought my home about 4 years ago. I soon discovered that the roof had two leaks. I called a company (not New Life) to fix the leaks, but the roof continued to leak in both places. I called a second company (still not New Life) to do additional repairs and the leaks seemed to be fixed. However, several rains later, one of the leaks returned. I then called New Life. They pointed out the sloppy job that had been done and explained why it didn't fix things permanently. Then they fixed it and it's been dry for a couple of years now. The repair on the second leak also held for a while, but then started leaking again. I called New Life again a couple of weeks ago and they found the same story: Poor prior repairs. They then did the repair; it rained hard a few weeks later and everything is dry!

Over all every thing went very well. Ralph was very courteous and professional. He took his time and looked every thing over and gave me all the options if we wanted to do the job now. No pressure and no BS, just good solid advice.

Met with Ralph to talk about what needed to be done (re-roof vs. repair). He took time to walk the whole roof and look at the options, though I expected to re-roof. He gave me good input on the shingle choices. There were no high pressure sales tactics. He just told me the facts and gave me the choices. I had plenty of notice as to when the crew would arrive and finish the work. The crew was on time both days and set to work immediately. The supervisor was very friendly and quick to answer my questions/concerns. They picked up the trash and even took some of the yard debris I needed tossed out. Some tiles coming off hit the garage door and left a black mark which the supervisor immediately removed with some cleaner and he let me know what had happened. The re-roofing crew was also on time and seemed very thorough and focused. The owner came by and checked out the entire roof and finished the painting and sealing. Overall they were very professional and pleasant to work with.

They inspected the roof and provided a quote within 24 hours of initial call. We had to wait a few days to begin work due to monsoon storms. They only took 2 days to do the work and the invoice was approx. $400 over quote due to very old, rotted wood that needed to be replaced (which we were anticipating). They told us to wait for a storm before we paid them, to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We would definitely use them again - very professional and friendly.

Ralph, their estimator, came out and gave a very detailed analysis of the roof. The roofer showed up on time and completed the job in a professional way.

They were very knowledgeable. They were just great because they scheduled their time with me and did exactly what I wanted them to do. They even sent the bill by mail. I highly recommend this company to others.

Project went very well. The crew was prompt and friendly and worked hard each day. New Life completely removed old tiles and underlyment on our entire roof. They replaced any rotten wood deck below the underlyment. Replaced underlyment with a higher quality product than what we had, replaced flashings and reinstalled tiles. They also power washed the flat portion of our roof and re-coated the roof.

The estimator was extremely thorough. Two other companies bid the job and each of their reps spent no more than 15 minutes looking at the roof before throwing out a figure. Ralph, on the other hand, spent almost an hour looking at the roof from on top and from under all the eaves all around the house. He then discussed improved venting options to prolong the life of the roof and to help keep the attic cooler. Neither of the other guys ever mentioned that. The job was started by a subcontracted roof removal process that was very professionally performed by an experienced crew with a clean truck and great attitude. Next, shingles and supplies were delivered that afternoon and New Life's roofers were there within a short time to weatherproof the roof with felt paper in case it rained. They worked very hard to finish the next day, and the roof and all the new vents look great. A couple of the turbines were slightly tilted but that was an easy repair. GREAT JOB!

Great experience. Very professional and nice people. Spoke with someone and made a very prompt appointment for them to come by for an estimate. Individual was very nice and professional and quickly determined the problem and also noted other issues on the roof of which I was not aware. Worked up a very reasonable estimate to fix everything. Indicated that the crew would be scheduled within a few weeks (which was not a problem for me) and that I would not need to be home for the repair and that they would invoice me in the mail for the work. A few weeks later, received a call, saying that they'd have a crew in the next day to perform the repair. They did a great job. Haven't had a truly hard rain to be sure that there are no issues, but I can see the other work was fixed correctly and I believe that there will be no problems based off of the work that was done. Great work for reasonable price. Scheduling and communication was professional and friendly.

This company fulfilled their claims in every way, from the quote to the inspection to the tear-off and installation. Two weeks after the roof was installed, they showed up as promised, to paint the vent pipes. Only then did they contact me to ask for payment. I could not be more pleased with their service. This company is outstanding; an example of how one should conduct business.

As promised--clean job. I had them do the neighbor's homes on either side of me, and they are happy with the company, and would hire again.

Ralph was the last of 3 estimators to arrive @ my home. We walked around the property so I could describe the work that I thought needed to be done. Like the other estimators, Ralph said he'd climb a ladder to get on the roof & assess the repairs that needed to be done. Unlike the other estimators, who were done in 5 minutes, Ralph stayed on my roof for about 30 minutes. He counted broken tiles, noted small repairs that needed to be completed & had a detailed, written estimate waiting for me when he came back to the door. It took about a week between the time that I accepted New Life's bid until the work was scheduled & another few days until it was completed. Richard, the owner, contacted me to ensure work was completed satisfactorily. When I asked about the gutters on the back of the house, he said that they had been missed & his crew would be back to tighten them up. They came on the morning of July 4th to finish the work! Crew was polite & yard was clean when complete.

Great costumer service and all workers were very attentive. Without my husband and I having to ask for it, the company took care of some details of the architectural features in the facade of our house that were not part of their job, just for the way it would look. Efficient, clean, sharp. Great company!

The crew showed on time and worked steadily through completion of job. The entire job took several hours. The crew was extremely knowledgeable and prepared with all materials to complete the job. The job was done beautifully.

From getting the estimate from Ralph Nott, and seeing the coordination of progress, to the end product, it was a pleasurable experience. They were thrown a few curve balls and each change was explained on visits by the owner of the company so there was never any surprises, and they handled each situation very professionally.
