 + -1 moreneeded a server installed , they sent a person who was only a sub for them , he left us with out setting up virus protection.
Description of Work: company sub contracts out their work so the tech we got did not really have too much interest in our customer satisfaction. very non involved in our issues.

 + -1 moreExcellent. Joran updated software and Windows on two laptops and the desktop. He knows when not to upgrade as well (I still have xp on one laptop and he felt it wouldn't support a 2011 version of a security software we use (that they recommended and it has proven to be a winner as well.) Everything went smoothly and now all three systems run faster and safer (always a concern for me).
Description of Work: Needed general computer maintenance becasue it was starting to fun slowly and lock-up.

Description of Work: mobile tech support came to fix some programs that was messed up on our computer, he was a very nice person, it only took him one hour, and i would hire him again, everything is working fine.

 + -1 moreAll went well, and the computer got better at once, except that he had trouble opening the CPU to insert the RAM, and Gateway has no information on this model )maybe a promo sale?) Eventually we sprung it and all was well. From extremely slow, like early computer days, I am at lightning speed getting on or offline, getting in and out of anything.
Description of Work: I'm on broadband. The computer had slowed to a crawl, on or offline. Joran defragmented and cleaned the files and left on my desktop icons for doing these things myself, with instructions how and when to do them, which I have already used. He also added 256 MB of RAM, which I badly needed.
