Lala Smith

Lala Smith is a dynamic and terrific real estate agent!  We were seriously considering moving from
California to Surprise, AZ for several reasons, and were told by a friend that
this person, Lala Smith, was THE agent with whom to work.  Those words were ever so true!
Although Lala was out of the country in Europe on a family
visit, she kept in contact with us by email daily (she never sleeps!).  She is HIGHLY responsive.  After a couple of email interchanges, she
focused on homes that were really of interest to us.  We then planned a trip to Surprise to see one
particular house, although it was somewhat over our budget. We truly had not
planned to move from Napa, CA for another year, or so.  But the day before we left San Francisco,
Lala notified us of a house that had JUST come on the market 2 days before, a
foreclosure and Fannie Mae-owned, no less! 
Lala had made arrangements for us to see this house, in addition to the
one to which we were attracted.  As it
turned out, the one we initially sought was MUCH better in photos that in
person, but the one that had just come on the market was like our DREAM HOUSE!
With help from Lala, we placed an offer on the house; it was
accepted; and then the usual saga of closing was pushed through by Lala.  In addition to helping to arrange the
financing, the Fannie Mae ownership required much motr ?agent?s effort? than
usual.  Also, near the closing of escrow,
the final payment of the water bill still needed to be clarified.  NO ONE, including the next-door neighbor,
could identify the owner/manager of the shared well!!  (Lala had been told they were ?out of
business!?)  Lala went to a number of
individuals, personally, seeking the manager of the well.  She ultimately found the manager, and
everything went though smoothly.
So, if you are looking for a real estate agent who can
develop a good sense of what you want and your budget, who is extremely on top
of current listings, and who has the experience to push things through to
fruition, Lala Smith is the person for you. 
I give her my highest recommendation, and I would ask for her help in a
second!
