+ -1 moreLarry Hauptman did email me the quotes as requested for demolition & removal of existing flooring and then installation of new vinyl or laminate (two quotes to compare). Because of our tight budget, we decided to order the laminate ourselves directly from a discount shop and had it installed by the son of someone in our neighborhood instead of having Hauptman's do it all. We were lucky, and it turned out very well. From the rave reviews of our general contractor and the photos of actual installations of tile & hardwood that I've seen of Hauptman's work, I'm sure we would have been thrilled with their results. If you have the funds to "do it right" and don't want to take a risk of going a cheap route, then I would recommend that you call Hauptman's for a quote.
Description of Work: We were in the process of remodeling our home, and was referred to Hauptman's by our general contractor. John Millett came out to take measurements of our dining room and kitchen. He brought samples of laminate and vinyl flooring and helped me choose both. He was very personable and friendly. He took lots of notes and explained that Larry Hauptman (owner) would prepare written estimates for me when he returned from an out-of-town trip.
