I had heard about him through a friend of a friend. I called the the registrar of contractors to see if he was bonded and licensed. He was. I called him to pick up the materials and later to tell him that the materials where in, and asked for a contract. He said he'd give it to me when he saw me. The floor was installed and then things got worse. I had just had new kitchen cabinets put it. I called to asked if they would cover the cabinets, and they said they would cover them with plastic. He installed the floor and I was not there. They worked on Monday and part of the day of Tuesday. I got a phone call from Henry, the owner, and he said that there were done. I asked how it looked, and he said it looked great. I drove over to the condo, and I realized that something was not right. I looked at the floor, and it looked off and crooked. I called in a handyman to get his opinion. He walked in, and said "Your floor is not laid right. It's crooked." I went by my kitchen cabinets, and the dust was so thick I could right my name in. All of my walls where covered in dust. The light fixture was covered in plastic, and when I turned on the light, my house almost burned down because the light was covered in melted in plastic. I called him, Henry the owner, back, when I got back home after seeing the floor. He was very quiet. He said "How did you like the floor." I told him we had a problem, and that it was crooked. He said "Your walls are crooked." They started in the far corner of the bedroom, instead of in the largest room, the living room. He said "We made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes." I told him he needed to rip it up, and reinstall it again. He said would adjust the floor. He and his men were there on Monday morning, and I got a phone call at 8 am, and said "Can you come over here, I want to show you something." I was half asleep, but I decided to go. I drove 25 miles to the condo, and went inside and the owner was really hyper, and said "I don't want you to say anything, let me do the talking, and when I'm done, you can talk." He had a ruler and pointed at the walls saying: "Look how crooked your walls are." He didn't do the job professional, I don't have a contract, and I don't feel like I should pay him. I called the Better Business Bureau, and they said they can't do anything without a contract. I have some from the registrar of contractors coming out to look at it. Some of the floor has been adjusted in the living room, the closet is a patch job, and the owner keeps calling and wants his money.
Description of Work: He was supposed to install a laminate floor in a condo. It's about 650 square feet.

Description of Work: Layed engineered hardwood flooring in two bedrooms. Henry and his staff did exactly what they said they would, and did it efficiently. They showed up on time, worked hard, were very friendly, and cleaned up and replaced the baseboards and heavy furniture as promised. I would hire Full House Flooring for any future flooring installations I might have, without reservation.

The whole process was great. We paid extra for Henry to remove and reinstall the living room and bedroom furniture. On their first day, they took out all the furniture and placed it in our garage. They next covered all duct work, counter tops and kitchen island to help keep the dust to a minimum. They removed all flooring (tile and carpet) on the first day. They then cleaned the concrete floor making sure all cracks repaired. All flooring was installed along with the new base molding. Every night the mess was cleaned up and the house was secured before they left. On the final day they cleaned up as much dust as they could and wiped down all the doors and cabinets. Henry line itemed all the work showing exactly what his costs were. Although this process was not pleasant considering moving out for a week and all the tile dust, Henry and his crew did a great job and did a great install of the new product. I would highly recommend Henry to anyone needing new flooring.
Description of Work: Removed all tile and carpet from bedrooms, kitchen and living room. All base molding was also removed. We purchased laminate flooring, pad and wooden base which was installed by Henry and his crew.
