DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! THEY WERE GIVEN TO US BY OLD REPBULBIC HOME WARRANTY AND SHAME ON THEM FOR USING COMPANIES LIKE THIS. LEFT MESSAGE FOR 4 DAYS WITH NO CALL BACK FOR THE REPAIRS UNTIL THE DAY OF INSTALL AT 7;30 AM TO CALL TO MAKE SURE BEFORE THEY GOT THE HOT WATER HEATER THAT WE WERE GOING TO PAY FOR THE REPAIRS NOT COVERED, GOUGED US FOR THE REPAIRS WE NEEDED AS WE HAD NO HOT WATER!!

If I could give this company a negative star rating I would and then some. We were given this company by our home warranty company, Old Republic, to have them come look at a toilet that was not flushing and kept sounding like water was running non stop. We were given the contact info on 12/18 and told if the plumber had not reached out within 24 hours to call them. We called on 12/19 and got a voicemail having not heard from them yet. Rodney called me back on 12/20 at 5:10 pm and I missed the call due to cooking dinner and not hearing. I called back the following morning, during business hours mind you, and got the voicemail again. I called again on 12/22 and left messages on both the business line and Rodney's personal cell phone that he had called me from days earlier. On 12/24/20 we woke up to find that the toilet had started overflowing in the night and at this point had flooded out bathroom, upstairs loft, 2 bedrooms, downstairs bathroom, and my garage. I called this business again to see if we could get someone out asap due to the issue and Rodney told me that he had gotten my message but it didn't sound urgent so he hadn't returned any of my calls ! Funny how he hadn't even been to our home to see what the issue was and seeing as he is the expert why is he taking my uneducated opinion on the problem ? He never once advise us to even turn off the water to the area but instead told me that he was too busy and that the earliest he could squeeze us in was in 5 days ! Mind you I am standing in ankle deep water at this point, trying to get my family together so we could start cleaning and speak on the phone with him to figure out what can be done. I expressed my frustration that if he was not able to get to the job in a timely fashion then he should have told us so we could find another vendor but booked the appt that he offered. About 3 minutes later I get a call from RODNEY and all he said was "Yeah I called the warranty and told them put you with someone else" and hung up in my face ! I never once raised my voice at this man but it seems like he is trying to get out of any liability this per the home warranty contract he was supposed to contact and schedule with us within 48 hours of getting the contract. I spoke to Old Republic who informed me that he called them and LIED stating that he was unable to gain access to the home. Now sir, I was literally begging you to come to our home asap and at no time were you denied entry to the residence but nice try since multiple people in my home heard both sides of the conversation. Once again seems like he is trying to get out of being liable for any damages or being in violation of the home warranty contract. I have filed a full complaint with Old Republic but after reading reviews on MULTIPLE websites on this vendor it is clear that they have been warned about Rodney and his unprofessionalism for over 3 years now but continue to work with him. Thankfully we were able to find a wonderful and professional plumber and restoration company that came out same day and are starting the repairs within 24 hours. Do yourself a favor and do not use this vendor if you actually need/want timely and professional service.

He was sent out by Old Republic today 8/25/20. Told me he had to get pre-approval for replacing a faucet. Later found out that because of Covid chaos, OR has PRE-APPROVED EVERYTHING AND HAVE ASKED SERVICE PROVIDERS NOT TO CALL. Oh, and no mask. I am old and totally forgot, and both my husband and I are immunocompromised. Totally lied to me. Today, 8/27/2020, received phone call from him pressing me to remove this review. I STAND BY IT! If you want more info, check him out on Better Business Bureau' site. He is not a member, obviously, but there are SIX complaints from other customers that are very similar to mine. Update: He had told me he would have to cut away part of the wall to do the repair. I had a competent plumber come out, he finished the job in 30 minutes, wall still intact."

The contractor did not show up the day he said he would and did not call to give me notice until after I had been home all day waiting for him. He came the next day and in 2 minutes diagnosed a problem with my circulation pump, even if that makes the hot water available right away, not make it colder. He then said it was undersized and refused to to the work under my house warranty unless I paid extra for plumbing work. Once I said I wanted the pump replaced with the same model, he called the home warranty and they are now declining my claim even if the pump has worked there perfectly for 10 years.
Description of Work: My shower gets colder after a few minutes and I needed the issue diagnosed

Had a garbage disposer lost all 2 blades. Check the warranty company and they assigned this company. They contacted me next morning, I asked the service late night, and made an appointment on 2 days later with 4-hour window. On the day of appointment, service technician, Mike, called me on the way to my home 30 min earlier, which was exactly what I asked to do at appointment. About in an hour or so he finished replacement and pipe work needed, all clean and nicely. When I saw a string of bad reviews on this site at first, I was little be of skeptical about the quality of their work. But, Mike worked and communicated well in the course of work, and that's why I leave this review for both the company and future readers.

assigned by warranty company to fix current water softener. Did not respond until complaint was filed with warranty company, 2 weeks later. Set appointment for 3 to 7 pm. Get a call at 7:45 they could not make it. Reset appointment, came and spent 2 minutes, wanted his $100.00 and left. They Reported to warranty company 3 days later that yes we need a new water softener but it would take $378.00 for modifications to install. Did not say what modifications were required. Plumbing, drain and electrical all in, just a replacement. Called manufactor who said nothing needed. checked other company's who stated they would install water softener where there was no plumbing or electrical for $149.00 plus parts of about $24.00. Rip off artist

If your home warranty company recommends this company, ask for another provider, and this is why. I received a call early in the morning, around 7:30 stating that they would be out to check on our water softener between 4 and 7 p.m. that evening. At 7:45 p.m., never with a call to let us know that he was late, he showed up at 7:45 p.m. This is a guarded community, his name was taken off the of the list, he still managed to get in. The discussion that I had with him before coming to look at the softener was that 2 years ago, there was something with the monitor, and that I could have replaced it than, but decided not, has always worked. He evaluated the softener and this is the report that he gave them: The water softener was two years old (it was 11 years old), stated that it had been running 24 hours a day, and therefore the softener, burned out, broke down (???? the softener has not been running 24 hours a day and it was 11 years old) He also stated ( which meant it would not be covered with the home warranty company) that softener was too small for the home. So yesterday Friday July 8th, I had another company evaluate the softener. It took them 5 minutes to diagnose the machine, I needed a 5 cent piece of tubing, that dried out. They fixed the machine within 15 minutes, got back and running like a charm. In addition, I asked the repair person yesterday, was this machine a good size for the home, his response, was yes, that is just fine. ( he didn't know why I was asking). So, this false statement to the warranty company, took the machine out of warranty with them, I would have had to pay out of pocket. So, you judge for yourself, but I would not have this company back in. His assessment would have cost me at least 1500.00 with out labor.

friendly, initially sent out by my home warranty. they said they fixed my leak and sent my to their friends to help repair the water damage which cost an exorbitant amount. 3 months later leak started again, New plumber showed us where they had just patched the area instead of fixing it. when I called they said it was outside the warranty period and they couldn't help.

my home warranty co old republic sent them out. I got a call right away wanting to come out but I was not going to be home. On So I set it up for Monday. The man called to say he was on his way spoke broken English. Went down to look at the shower which is a hand held took pictures of it??? said he needed to call it in. Never said he was leaving and left my home. I had to call old republic back to see what was going on since he left without a word. They said there was no report and would call later. On Tues I got a call saying it was the line to the head leaking and its not covered. I told them that was wrong you can see the water on the head bead up and then drip. I was told that is what the report stated and to call DETLA per the guys request to get a whole new hand held. I called delta they said if it is leaking from the head it is a valve not the line if the line is dry (which it is) now they want to send someone back out from the same company to see what someone else says??? This should be interesting......

First, after a week wait, he ordered the wrong size and had to reorder. Second, he installed the heater after 2 weeks without ANY hot water. He was not finished, but he collected payment and left his assistant to finish the job. Which hit a snag and couldn't be finished. So I was out of hot water still AND payment of service. Third, ordered a replacement part for the water heater for overnight delivery. So he KNEW it was coming the next day but when it came he said he was "booked" and couldn't come and install it. WHAT? That is what really annoyed me. He ordered the part overnight and KNEW it was coming. He should have been waiting on my call. Fourth, part was installed and it didn't work again. Once again it was over nighted and ONCE AGAIN he was TOO BUSY to come the next day after it was delivered and install it. So all and all, service was really bad. I'm ok with parts not working, I am NOT OK with not being on the list of stops the next day to install the bad part. THREE WEEKS without ANY hot water is not fun. Boiling water for doing dishes, etc. NOT FUN He did not care enough to to come and install the bad parts AND he cashed my check a WEEK before the job was done.

This was a horrible experience from day 1. They were sent out by our insurance plan through old republic. It took a few days for them to call me back to set up the 1st appointment. They sent a plumber out who said that they needed to rip out the drywall and re-pipe the plumbing for the tub. The plumber said he would call back to re-schedule. I had to call back about a week later after not receiving a call back. They set up service and they sent out a new plumber who they said was a master plumber. When the master plumber came out he said that we did not need to have re-pipe the plumbing for the bathroom tub. He said the over flow valve was not sealed right. He then went on to say how the 1st plumber should have known that and that he was now fired. He claimed to seal everything up and to wait a few days to use it the tub again. He apologized for the 1st plumber and again said he was going to have him fired. I thought it was very unprofessional for them to say that infront of a customer. A few months have gone by and I have them same problem again. They did not fix the problem. I requested a different plumber from the insurance company. The other plumber replaced the whole part and sealed it properly. A very easy fix. I would never use Everything plumbing again. They did everything but fix the plumbing issue.
