Description of Work: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. We contacted the company to come and perform pool service. The guy that we spoke to acted like he had never heard of Angie's List. He wanted us to email him the Angie's List information which we did and we never heard from them again.

+ -1 moreI will not use Elite Pools again. They never cleaned the pool. He would say he cleaned the pool and the pool would be green. He just took me for a ride and I did fire him. He told me he was going to refund me $200 which he hasn't done. I have an attorney and I will take him to court. It was a disaster. He gives me excuses like his daughter was in the hospital and he didn't have money.
Description of Work: I have an annual pool cleaning service from Elite Pools but they never cleaned the pool.

Description of Work: I was to received full pool service (chemicals, cleaning, skimming, backwash, etc.) for one year on a weekly basis. The serviceman was to come to my home every Thursday morning between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and I was to leave my gate open. The majority of the time it was not been apparent anything had been done . On at least one occassion, the gate was left locked, so I can fully understand why nothing was done. I called to your business and complained about this situation about 2-3 weeks ago. A few days later the business contacted me and told me they had not come on one service day due to Thanksgiving. I understand that. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and he agreed to honor the contract obligations going forward. Contrary to what he told me, it is not apparent my pool is being serviced. The pool had excess debris and leaves in it (at the bottom requiring a flat lipped skimmer which he and I both have) this week late into Thursday afternoon. Also, both traps were full to capacity, indicating nothing had been done for some time. I contacted the service this morning by telephone and asked they terminate service to my address. I will be requesting a pro-rated return of the money paid for the remaining service at the contracted rate. I no longer any faith or confidence in this firm. I would not recommend this firm. On a second matter, the dentist you highly recommended to me is no longer in Arizona and had left long before I went to his former place of business (Desert Smiles on Bell and 3rd St. in North Phoenix). The dentist I ended up with is excellent. However, the one your business thinks is there is actually in Colorado. You keep requesting I finish a review on the wrong dentist. Please get your act together and check periodically on the status of the individuals and business' you are "highly recommending" via email.

Description of Work: the company person showed up to clean my pool filter. I was not home when he arrived. I returned home when he was leaving. The floor near my pool filter was totally dry in spite of the fact that you need water to clean the filter. I was only out 15 mintues and the guy said that he was here a half hour doing the job. It appeared to me that he did not take apart and clean my filter. I had backwashed a couple of days before the service so my numbers on my filter were low. I called Angie's list to report this and they gave me a refund.

Description of Work: Nate is an AWEFUL worker. He spent less that 5 minutes on the pool. Ours is a 25foot pool. He is greeady and i caught him using an already used water test strip to check the pools chemicals. I WILL NEVER EVER USE this company again.

+ -1 moreUpdate: The first several months went well. But after the chemicals I had on hand ran out my pool started turning green and Iwe had to clean the traps and backwash the filter. All of this was supposed to be part of the weekly service. I also noticed that they did not appear to be coming when they had agreed to stop by. I stayed home several times when he was supposed to arrive to speak with him about the pool but he never showed up. When we called him he told my wife we had only purchased biweekly service and he did not provide chemicals. When I called him the same day he said he was not in the office and did not know the frequency of our service. As a result we did not renew our service and I would not recommend this company. They have keep my pool clean and clear the entire summer. Prior to the service I was struggling with the chemical balance and typically had a green pool at least once a month. I have not had to deal with anything related to the pool since I started the service.
Description of Work: Weekly pool service that includes sweeping, cleaning the traps and checking / adjusting the chemicals.

Description of Work: Purchased annual service. Water was clear when service started, then 2 weeks later it was cloudy and stayed cloudy until I took action to clear it up. Was told the water needed to be drained, it was not drained, but I was able to get it cleared. No communication as to the condition of the water or course of action. I believe service was missed at least once, maybe twice in the two months since starting. Pool has had alge growth requiring me to take more action. UPDATE: After owner promised to fulfill the contract, he showed up 2 more times, then never heard from again. I recommend never doing business with this company.

+ -1 moreNick was supposed to be mainting my rental property pool but my tenants kept calling me and telling me the pool was green. Nick was telling me that he was taking care of it and going over each week to a fix it. After almost three months of tenant complaint I checked it out for myself and took a sample of the water to the pool store. They informed me no one has been maintainig my pool. The system was not even put back together correct in order for the system to work after emptying the filter so my in floor system was not functioning properly. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They are unprofessional and cheats.

+ -1 moreWas to have pool cleaning service for 2 months. Was told at the outset that a form would be left so that I knew they had come. Never left those notes. Could tell on certain weeks they did not come the day they said. He did eventually get my pool clear (with my help of adding my own chemicals) however I was required to sweep the pool and vacuum it when the vacuum didn't do a good enough job as they did not do this. Also, I don't know who did it as it could have been anyone, but I had a brand new pool vacuum that was stolen, but not only stolen, replaced it with an old vacuum that didn't work ?????? Be careful on who you pick for a pool person. When they know that you are probably only going to be a customer for 2 months and are only paying $99 YOU WON'T GET MUCH.

The 2nd appointment I asked them to come in the afternoon so my husband could be there and they came in the morning. "they looked" at the pool and answered some questions, but did not do any maintenace or tune up. I would not use this company again UPDATED OCTOBER 22, 2012: I was happy he called and resolved the issue

+ -1 moreI assumed the service was being scheduled and work performed on every Tues. like we agreed upon. My next door neighbour phoned me to let me know that it didnt look like any work was being done. At this point I thought we might have a communication problem; so we went over the details again. Every Tuesday there was a pool service to be completed. After a couple of weeks my neighbor phones again to let me know the pool was turning green;and he had not seen people to service the pool. The final straw came when the county left an ordinance about the pool being green. Not Proffessional; No one from Arizona pool service once phoned me. Ithink I was taken advantage of being from out of state. I could not reccomend this service to anyone.
Description of Work: Arizona pool service was supposed to maintain my pool in North Arrowhead; on a weekly basis;we decided on a monthly price. At the time there was no one living at the home;and as an out of state owner, I have to rely upon these professional services even more than others who can check up on their own property.

+ -1 moreHe is very prompt in returning phone calls and email. He seems very competent, although I have only had him for 3 or 4 weeks. The one dislike I had was that I wanted to sign up for a $699 special that was advertised on Angie's List but he said my pool was larger than he could do for that special so he quoted me a much higher price. His price was still reasonable, but only middle of the road.

+ -1 moreMy swimming pool filter tub cracked a day before I had to leave town for ten (10) days. It was inoperative and I was in a bind. I went to Angie's list and after reading some reviews I called Arizona Pool Service. Nick responded promptly and replaced the tub and reconnected the piping. I would have had a real mess in the pool if I had been unable to use the filter system for ten days. Nick even came back to the house after the repairs and checked the filter system to make sure it was working properly, all while I was out of town. In my opinion Nick provided superior service at a fair price. I was impressed and have committed to use the annual pool service by Arizona Pool Service and anticipate further favorable results once they start service in August 2012

Description of Work: We receive weekly pool service from Arizona Pool Service. The maintenance of our pool is excellent. Our pool is over 8 years old, and whenever we have had an issue or repairs needed, we know we can count on Nick to handle it with a job well done--he is always willing and able to answer any of our questions regarding the care and upkeep of our pool. The reliability and level of customer service is beyond great. And we highly recommended this company for weekly service and for any repairs you may need!!!

+ -1 moreArizona Pool Service did a fantastic job on my pool. I had them come out and perform an acid wash on my pool. I had some pretty bad staining on my plaster that I wanted to get rid of. They were able to get the stains out and my plaster looks brand new... My pool has not looked this good in a long time! I will definitely be using them again in the future for my pool needs!

He cleans the skimmer baskets, adds any needed chemicals, and always leaves my pool in sparkling condition. If there is ever an issue with my pool, Nick is always on top of things, and quickly brings it to my attention before it can turn into a bigger issue. Nick has been servicing my pool for several years now and has always treated me with respect, and my pool with tender loving care. I highly reccomend AZ pool service!

The price was extremely reasonable and the response time was excellent. The gentleman was very curtious and professional. He even came to service my pool the next day! My pool is sparkling now, which is a lot to say with the San Tan Valley winds and dirt. They cleaned all debris and brushed down the walls, added all the necessary chemicals. By the next day my pool was AMAZING!

+ -1 moreIt was great! Nick came out on a Tuesday afternoon, looked at my pool equipment and agreed that the pool motor needed to be replaced... He quoted me $390.00 including labor... I agreed to have him do the work and said he would be back out Thursday late morning... Nick was back at my house around 11 am Thursday morning and had the work completed by noon!! We have now hire Arizona Pool Service to do our weekly service. Nick dose more then he needs to to make sure pool he clean and ready to swim. our pool turn green while we were out of town we called nick again (this was after they installed motor) he came out the next day and help us clear up the pool for free since we wanted to hire him for a weekly service. with his help we clear the pool up within 2 days. now the pool is always clear and clean and ready to swim in
Description of Work: I had Arizona Pool Service come out and give me an estimate on replacing my pool motor... I had other companies come out and quote me and Arizona Pool Service by far was the cheapest. He came out within the next couple of days and replaced the pool pump and had our pool back and running within hours. The pool is running better than ever now and my kids are now happy they can swim,. We have now hire Arizona Pool Service to do our weekly service.
