DUCTZ of North Phoenix and Deer Valley & Glendale

As of yesterday 07/12/2012 at approximately 4:19pm I got a call from the boss Vince of Ductz location Phoenix and Tucson. He insisted I quit when I kept telling him I never quit. But since he was in a recorded line he wanted me to say I quit. That I never said it, only after repeating it and saying I never quit stop lying. Well to be frank, Vince has us doing half-*** jobs for we never have all the equipment we need. The work trucks are always breaking down. Riding around Arizona in the heat with no A/C is just wrong. When i got rehired he said he had so much work lined up and that it would be 40 plus hours a week. Yet we have only been seeing 24 hour weeks. Let a lome last week we only did 11 hours of work for the week. As he went out to vacation we were stuck in Arizona with no work and ****** pay. No commission either for this job when we make him 1k plus a day and we can't even get 15% commission when we are the one's getting everything done and putting our face to the company along with our hard work, not him. Lately we been driving around in a work truck with no turn singles at all. So yes very dangerous and he seems to not care. He over charges for duct cleaning work and tell us to do the best we can with the equipment we have. So 9 out of 10 times we do a job half-assed jobs. I'm writing this for people to be aware of this company. Also for customers to complain to Vince thw boss not to the employees. As we don't have a saying in the equipment we have. That's all Vince the boss who is at fault. I don't recommend Ductz to anyone. So many other company's that are a lot cheaper than Ductz and does a way better job as well. Ductz over all is over priced and half-assed. This is in Ductz of Phoenix & Tucson, Arizona. They also try to tell you to look processional when the supervisor Max looks like a bum off the streets and they don't even give you new work shirts. Only ones with holes and stains on it.

The two crew guys were new to the job. The supervisor had to tell them what to do. He then left and didn't come back until the job was almost done. The supervisor was supposed to email me the before and after pictures of the duct and he never did. Very unprofessional experience.

We got multiple estimates, but Gary at Howard Air was the only one who clearly explained options and choices until we were very sure what we wanted. He did not pressure us into any choices. Then the install team, led by John, were awesome. They did the job over two days, left everything clean and clearly explained the operation of our new units. We are so glad we went with them.

This was a big deal purchase. It was fine.

That was good. There were no additional fees.

The technician called me prior to his arrival which the owner told me he would do. He arrived promptly, he was polite, and courteous. He asked specifically what our concerns were and went to work. Within 20 minutes the technician completed his work order assuring us that everything was in proper and efficient working order.

All went as planned. They let me know a window when they would arrive, gave me a 20 minute courtesy call, and cleaned my vent.

They arrived right on time. Explained to me what they were going to do. Checked the dryer hookup. Went on the roof to clean out vent. Were here approximately 20 minutes. Showed me a photo of the blockage that was not allowing the air to escape which was why the dryer was not drying properly. Now everything is working well. Explained that I should have this done at least every couple of years, not to wait several years like I did.

Prompt appointment great service would recommend for any service they offer.

Made arrangement using Angie's List "shop deals". Company scheduled us quickly, work done by friendly, professional workers. A good experience. Will definitely use them again.

Most everything went ok but I was a little disappointed that the service tech did not do a more thorough job by cleaning the lint filter area and the exhaust outlet on the dryer itself. According to the tech, "he was not licensed to do that". This left a significant amount of Visible lint still in the dryer itself. He did loosen and blew out a lot of lint in the exhaust tube that went from the dryer to the roof exhaust, however. But I still thought more should be done to get a more thorough cleaning. Also, in checking the connection behind the dryer, it was necessary to move the washer and dryer somewhat. The tech seemed very unsure of himself in attempting to do this causing me to have to assist him. Then in putting the units back, he did not ensure they were level. This became very apparent when we attempted to use the washer a couple days later only to find the washer jumping all over the place. This continued over several different loads until I leveled the unit again myself with help of a friend. I really expected the service to include attention to all of these items thereby leaving the operational condition of my appliances ideally better but definitely not worse than it was before.

Christian and Jim showed up not only on time but a little early....which I loved. They introduced themselves and told me what they had to do. They were very professional and personable. They had to go to the top of my roof to find where the vent came out. They cleared most of the crap out there and got a few final scraps in the house. They gave me their card and let me know how often I should have this done.......On time.....professional......excellent job.....good price...and they finish in less than 1/2 hour and there is n o evidence they were ever here. I would recommend these guys to anyone......even my Mother!!!!!!!!!! They are employees to be proud of.

Very prompt service. Showed me which vent was actually hooked up to the dryer and set realistic expectations about when it would need to be cleaned and how. Great job!

GREAT! They came out the same day. I knew my vent was clogged-which could lead to fire. It was taking 2x as long to dry a load of clothes. It was worth every penny and more!

It went great! Just a little bit after I made the purchase on Angie's List, I was called and given an appt that same day & it was a Saturday!! The gentleman that showed up, though very young it seemed (maybe I'm just getting old), were very professional and personable and completed the job in about 10 mins and everything is working great now. Very impressed and would recommend.

Ductz of North Phoenix cleared it and then came back when I had another problem with the same tubing involved in the first clogging. They fixed the reconnection of the tubing and did not charge me. Best Company for dryer clogs and I am calling them back to complete a full house vent cleaning. Very satisfied with their work, price of service and expertise.

I purchased the service through one of the deals emailed from Angies List. I was called quickly, they set an appointment right away at my convenience and did a great job. And they cleaned up after themselves.

Two very competent and professional tech's came on-time, called prior, per our request. Explained everything they did, and as indicated above, more than we expected. To quote my wife, on a scale of 1 to 10, she'd give them a 15!

The tech was punctual, courteous and knowledgeable in his trade. The entire process took less than an hour and we immediately could see the improvement in the dryers performance. I will be using their services again.

Called and received same day service. Very prompt, very courteous. I will definitely use them again in the future.

When I contacted Ductz, Vince got right back to me and answered my questions. After I bought the deal for dryer cleaning, they contacted me the next morning, and I got an appointment the next day. Aidan called and told me when he would be there, and came right on time. He was professional and cheery, even though he had to go up on the roof to do the cleaning. He showed me the bag of lint he cleaned out, which was substantial. Previous to the cleaning, my dryer was working on about half power. The first load since the cleaning, it appears to be normal again.

The preson they send were on time and actually a couple minutes early. He was very professional and the dryer vent cleaning was done in about 15 minutes. We will definately use them for again to clean the ductwork in our current house.
