I was so happy to find a seamstress on the West Side of the Valley. (63rd Ave. and Greenway) She had me try on each pair of dress pants and pajama bottoms and marked each one. She has a room dedicated to sewing, and left the room while I changed into each garment. I came the following week to pick them up at an agreed upon time and gave her the money for her work. I was unable to try them on at that moment, so she told me to try them on at home and see if any adjustments were required. She promised to fix anything that wasn't quite right without charge.
When I arrived home, I tried everything on and they all fit perfectly! Beautiful work, and the stitching on the black pants was almost invisible. I believe she double stitched everything, even the pajama bottoms. She charged $10 a garment, and it's worth every penny! I left two new items that needed hemming at the wrist. I'll be taking my father's suit pants to her as well as some items that need buttons, snaps etc. (I can't even put a button on.... only class I ever failed in school was sewing!) Gloria is a delightful lady and has a charming way about her. She had several wedding gowns she was working on, and has been doing that for years. Folks, if you want a westside seamstress, this is your person!

GLORIA WAS GREAT WITH MY DAUGHTER WHO IS TYPICALLY APPREHENSIVE HANDLING APPOINTMENTS ON HER OWN WITH PEOPLE SHE DOESN'T KNOW.

I AM VERY PLEASED WITH HOW MY WEDDING GOWN TURNED OUT. GLORIA WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. SHE HAS A SEPARATE ROOM IN HER HOME FOR DRESSING, COMPLETE WITH FULL LENGTH MIRRORS AND A BOX TO STAND ON.
