BPG was easy to get in touch with to file the claim.  I had moved into the house just 3 days prior to my pool filter failing.  They took a couple of days to get a tech out to my house, thank god it was a pool filter and not an AC in August.  The tech showed up about one hour late to the time he had told me he would arrive and quickly diagnosed the failed filter.  It took BPG several days to get back to me regarding the claim I had filed.  They initially told me they would not cover the component unless I proved it was working before I moved in.  I was fortunate to have done a home inspection and paid extra for the pool; i was able to prove it was in working order before the warranty was applied.  
When the tech arrived to replace the filter he was several hours late and claimed he had vehicle problems.  The tech also told me he was surprised he was even there as BPG had told him not to think to much about the claim as I had only lived there a couple of days and they were not going to cover anything.  
That is my main issue with the company BPG; they assumed they were not going to cover the filter before they had done any due diligence regarding the status of the pool filter when I moved in.  This is disheartening as I know they are looking for a way ou paying the claim.
I would not recommend this company to anyone and if you have a choice I would choose a company like American Home Shield.  I have worked with AHS in the past and they were excellent and prompt.
