I like Ryan and hired him since I knew him from working together in a different industry. I liked Ryan’s ideas and felt he would get the job done right. I made the mistake of trusting his decisions too much. From the beginning I was concerned. 1. The cabinets installed were and are too small to fit the bins we were to use them for that Ryan knew the dimensions. 2. The epoxy looked more like paint. It looked bad, I communicated that, nothing changed. I had a different company re-do it a few months ago and it looks like it was supposed to. 3. The balcony was a disaster. Ryan selected tile meant for indoor. Water goes right thru it. My balcony and roof leak and will cost a lot to repair. Ryan would come out to repair the roof and would never accept it was the wrong tile. He suggests we add gutters. “Gutter” is how I would describe the quality of work. There is not one home in our community that has gutters and our HOA does not allow for them. 4. In the end I will have spent over $20,000 with Ryan and another $20,000 fixing his mistakes. I am not sure if Ryan is still in the business or cares as my last message was communicating my unhappiness once again and he is unresponsive. The quality of work may have improved however the self awareness and accountability has not. There are a lot of companies out there and I recommend doing your homework. Excellent from start to finish. This company was one of three recommended by our tile dealer and offered the best overall combination of price and professionalism in responding to our request for a quote. Owner Ryan Brunelle responded to my call immediately and came out to give us a bid on the same day. Work was delayed one week due to rain, but Ryan accommodated our desire to get the job done quickly by coming-out on a Sunday. Since the area to be tiled is subject to flooding during rain storms, he used a special grout material that would withstand the damp conditions at no extra charge. Ryan personally supervised the 2-man crew and I was impressed by everyone's craftsmanship and professionalism. We will definitely call this company again!
