 + 1 moreOutstanding. Thomas was on time, knowledgeable, and courteous. It is so nice to have a vendor show up when promised, and do what was contracted. We will recommend this company to all our friends. We would also contract with them in the future if we decide to add more skylights.
Description of Work: We had a solar tubular skylight, can lights and a fan installed in our kitchen The old dropped ceiling, and fluorescent lighting was removed.

Description of Work: Installed a 13" solar tube in my office. Work was done in two phases since we were having the roof re-shingled at the same time. They went out of their way to install the roof piece and then come back later (when the roof was done) to complete the interior part of the job. | |I would definitely recommend them and will use them again if we decide on another solar tube.

 + -1 moreWe had 2 solar tubes installed 2 years ago where the installer had used corregated tubing and they provided very little extra light. Mike Brandt knew what to do to correct the problem and now we have so much more light. It is wonderful and we are so much happier.. We also added an 18 inch solar tube to our kitchen family room. It is a large area and it gives us the extra light in that area. We were going to install another 18 inch tube in our large bathroom. He suggested that with the size of the area a 13 inch tube would be better. We took his advice and he was so right. We are so pleased with the finished product. We gladly will recommend him to our friends and neighbors. He did a great job. He knows what he is doing!!
Description of Work: We wanted to install 2 additional solar tubes and have corrections made on another 2 that had been installed earlier with poor quality materials. We are so pleased with the work that Brandt Builders did for us.

 + -1 moreI have a Spanish tile roof with solar panels already installed. The solar panels provided a bit of an obstacle to getting the Tubular Skylights exactly where I wanted them. Tom Brandt consulted with me, did his measurements and gave me options on where they might be placed without interfering with the solar panels. When I thought I might like an 18and quot; tube in one room he suggested, correctly, that I might be happier with the 13and quot;. Tom did his best to be unobtrusive (given the nature of the job) and cleaned up well after he was finished. One small snag was that he didn't have enough 13and quot; tubes available when he came and had to install one tube on Friday and the other two on Saturday. That was not a problem for me because it gave me a chance to live with one of the tubes for a day before completion of the installation. It confirmed for me that the 18and quot; tube would have been a mistake.
Description of Work: Installed three 13" Tubular Skylights in kitchen, dining room and family room.
