This work was done at my mom's home. The work done by Bailey's was disappointing, time-consuming and very frustrating. Ultimately, after just under two months and four visits by three different people from Bailey's (two installers and the owner, Neal), the work was completed to her satisfaction. The attention to detail was minimal. There was no attempt by the original installer to make sure everything was installed and adjusted to make sure it all looked professional and like the custom blinds these were. The 'fit and finish' details were not attended to, and when we pointed them out to the installer, his response was "That's just they way it is." He did not seem to see the problems and had to be persuaded to make small, easy adjustments to make the blinds and the valances look right. Like wingnuts being visible over the tops of the wooden valances, and needing to be adjusted further back toward the wall so the sides sit flush to the wall instead of hanging out from the wall an inch or so and drooping down the way he initially had them. He offered a lot of excuses and spent a lot of time talking about how there wasn't anything he could do (ultimately he did), and telling us how Lowes isn't familiar with the products they sell and don't know what they look like other than the samples they have in the store. In the end, after a visit from Neal, the owner, it was determined that the final unresolved issue with the blinds - the last three vanes didn't seem to be spaced properly and left a very uneven look - was caused by the headrail being just a bit too short for the number of vanes in the blind. He referred it back to Lowes, who promptly contacted Levolor to send out new headrails. This finally fixed the last problem and the blinds look wonderful. It was disappointing that it took so much time, so many phone calls, and having to try to convince the installers that there were problems in the first place. When you use a company who touts their expertise in this area, you expect them to do the work properly the first time and make sure the customer is happy.
Description of Work: Installed fabric vertical blinds purchased at Lowes. Bailey's was their contracted installation company.

Was referred by Rapid Blinds since my warranty expired. Called and it was suggested that if I knew how to take the blind down and take it to a store, it would save me a $69 home charge fee. I took the blind down and delivered it to the store. I was not called regarding cost and anticipated pick up date so I called. The individual apologized stating that the repairman was out on service calls for 2 days. I was contacted the following day and my blind was ready the day after that. The blind works well.
Description of Work: Replaced broken cord on honeycomb blind
