I made an appointment, but was late getting there from my doctor's office. They graciously took my car right away. I had a terrific coupon, and was given a choice of oils (Valveline or Mobil), and when they were about done the manager came back in to tell me that my car was in great shape! No upsells, no scary stories. My car is a 2006 Kia Spectra, but has only 35,000 miles on it. The manager happily recounted that I had a great little car, and that I should be good to go until the regular 60,000 mile check. My tires were down to 20 lbs or thereabouts, which I believe was my fault. I tried to put air in at a gas station with no tire gauge. They did the tire rotation, filled them up, and told me they were just fine. This is a Goodyear tire store as well as auto service center, so they could have tried to sell me something, but didn't. They offered to check my tire pressures everytime I filled up with gas, especially in the summer months. I am disabled, so bending is difficult for me. I appreciated that they handled the entire transaction with integrity and kindness. I will return to this shop for my tire pressures, and when it's time, I will do my maintenance checks with them and tire purchases when needed. There's no substitute for integrity and honesty dealing!
