Absolute Comfort Cooling & Htg

Absolute Comfort installed a unit on my mother's house a couple years ago. She was told that in order to keep the warranty valid she must have them come out and service it once a year. This year when she called them they came out to service the unit and charged her $85.00. The repair man then told that he needed to replace a part on it and it would cost her an additional $195.00. She told him because she was on Social Security that she did not have that much money at the moment. He told her if they had to come out again it would cost more. He agreed to do it then and told her to pay it at the beginning of the month when she received her check. She told me and I asked her what part had to be replaced on a two year old unit. She didn't know and he had left her with no paperwork. I called them at the beginning of the month to ask about the payment due and what it was for. I was told they had to replace the capacitor. This is a $20.00 part. A part that should also last more than 2 years. I feel they did this knowing she was elderly and didn't know any better. I went ahead and paid it for her because they said she had agreed to that price. Them like many other service companies will take advantage of people that don't know any better. It is sad that they would take advantage of someone on a limited income.

I had been living on borrowed time with my old air conditioning unit and it finally went. I called Absolute Comfort Cooling & Heating and had excellent service. They were able to schedule me for an installation quickly, they replaced old duct, installed a new air conditioner, duct sealed and added insulation. My house has never cooled so easily. The staff was professional and kind. Thank you, Lance for taking care of me so quickly.

It was a good experience for us.

This company was recomended by the the mfg of the unit i wanted. they tore out the existing HVAC heat pump and installed a new one. Unit had to be put up by a crane. Installed a new thermostat and ceiling mounted air handler.Did a great job. even patched the drywall from the old unit. They showed up on time and finished in 2 days.
