Prompt, friendly, quick. Lost my keys for my truck and didn't have spare. Charles drove all the way to Cave Creek AZ to rekey my truck at 8p at night. He did a great job and saved me time and money. He saved my day.

Job was done properly & on time. Made himself available work I needed done. Is currently not accepting credit cards.

Charles arrived on time and completed the work in a workman like manner. He charged a reasonable rate for his work and was in and out of the house very quickly. The car ignition key was giving trouble, I had only one key needed duplicate made. No one could make duplicate, not even dealer from VIN# so had tocall locksmith, my car would not accept my key at times and had to sit in car in heat and try starting the car for 10-15 minutes.......he was prompt, made the duplicate from master vin# and needed some filing etc but it worked and the checked door locks, turns out my original key was so worn it was messing up the lock, new keys work great.......really happy with service and fee so reasonable...........

Service was great. Called them on Monday morning and set an appointment for later that afternoon. Tech showed up on-time and was very professional and made himself available to answer and questions I may have had. The tech was also very knowledgeable and came to me to explain things that he saw and took time to explain things to me so I could make informed decisions. Even with some minor fixes that he did based on what he saw, the charges that were explained on the phone were what I was charged!! I will definitely use this company again in the future!!!

I don't like to do surveys

We just purchased a new home and needed to have the locks changed before we moved in. I called Aardvark in the morning and Charles said he could meet me to do the job in about an hour and a half. He arrived right on time and listened as we explained everything we needed done. Charles was very knowledgeable about the locks he was changing for us. He re-keyed approximately 10 locks and replaced the hardware on one door. He was quick, efficient and friendly. I highly recommend Aardvark Affordable Lock and was very happy with the work done and the responsiveness of the service.

The dead-bolt lock on my travel trailer was broken such that the key would not go in all the way, and it certainly would not turn. The dead-bolt was locked, so I had no way to access the trailer. I called a nearby locksmith from Angie's List, but after looking at it for awhile he was unable to do anything with it. He suggested I call the travel trailer dealer as the camper is pretty new. I decided to call another locksmith from Angie's List instead. I called Charles from Aardvark and he arrived quickly. He was able to access the trailer, disassemble the lock, find out what was wrong and fix it. It saved me the time and hassle of pulling the trailer to the dealer, and for this I am grateful. Charles from Aardvark is knowledgeable, skilled, and his prices are reasonable - I will be recommending him to anyone in need of lock and key services.

We needed all the locks on our home changed quickly and it was late on a Friday afternoon. There wasn't any hesitation in saying he'd be out immediately after he finished the job he was on. He was very professional and personable. Asked me how I found him and when I said Angie's List I received a discount. Very happy with the service.

I called Aardvark approximately at 10:00 a.m. The phone was answered immediately. I told the man my situation (a locked cabinet for which I had no key and that I needed to get it open as soon as possible). I was given a worst case scenario of the cost and that he could be on-site in about an hour and a half. I told him to come on out. He showed up on time as he said he would. He was able to pick the lock and make me a new key. Aardvark Affordable Locksmith is a company that is very easy to work with and one that I would highly recommend.

Our front door lock/latch mechanism would not allow us to open our front door from the outside, and we did not have keys to many exterior doors at our house. To make matters worse, there were three different types of locks on our exterior doors. After we called AARDVARK for service, they promptly made an appointment to come out to our house and were on time. I had a friend meet them at my house, as I had to be at work, and after assessing the situation, AARDVARK called me to explain my available alternatives for getting all the exterior door locks working properly (including the relative costs of those alternatives). After I agreed on a course of action, they finished the job quickly and everything seems to work perfectly.

They are efficient, clean and they did an excellent job. I will use them again.

Aardvark was very knowledgable, and everything went well. The only ding was that I was at the end of his schedule for the day, and he had to come an hour later than planned; he did call to let me know that, however. He was generous with his efforts and went further to give me information to consider for future services. My experience was very gratifying.

Charles really helped us out when we on a late friday afternoon that our church had been broken into and robbed. It was clear that the burglar may have had a key and could return anytime. We called aardvark lock service Friday evening and he was there within an hour. That evening he secured the doors for us, for a very reasonable price. Because we felt the burglar had a key, it was necessary to re-key the entire campus - a sizeable job. We found that the existing lock system was a high quality, but little used system by the "Best" company. Aardvark lock service was able to handle the complete job in a timely and courteous manner. It actually took a few weeks to get all the parts in, design a keying plan (master, less than master, etc.) cut the keys, and install the cylinders. Charles was always prompt and helpful during that time. We definitely will use him again.

Charles was professional and responsive from the initial call throughout the job. He studied the garage door issue and quickly noted that the problem was with the type of knob used. He gave options and associated costs, with easy to understand explanations of pros and cons for each approach. His costs were very reasonable, the locks work beautifully, he made as many extra keys as we wanted (I usually have to make a trip to the hardware store for this), and he definitely has our future business. I highly recommend his company.

One of my deadbolts was not turning and the key was loose in the slot. I called another locksmith that was not rated by Angie's and had a bad feeling about them. I called Charles and arranged to take my lock to his house (which is an unusual way to go about it). Thw whole experience was very pleasant. He took a lot of time with the lock to get it just right and when I took it home it was. The price included three new keys! He told me he also does the new key fobs for keyless entry cars.

The technician arrived timely and began trouble shooting the issue with the lock. Once that was done, he decided the lock did not need to be replaced, but could be repaired. He did the necessary repair work and had me test the lock to see if the repair was to my satisfaction. It was.

Went very well. He was very professional and friendly. I had 9 locks that needed to be replaced and he did them all in about an hour.
