A Salon On 51st Ave

This was the worst pedicure I've EVER had!!!  I purchased a voucher advertised on Amazon for a discounted hour long pedicure with paraffin wax (normally $55).  I thought it sounded like a good price and checked out their website.  It seemed like this was a fancy spa sort of place.  Well, upon arrival I was surprised to learn that they were an normal looking hair/nail place in a strip mall.  No biggie there, but when I walked in, I noticed right off that the place was dingy and cluttered with tubs in random places on the floor, dirty looking shampoo sink, etc.  I didn't want to succumb to my first impression, so I waited for my appointment.  Well, I should have left.  What I got, was a lotion massage, a scrub, a nail trimming, and a really, really bad polish job.  They did no cuticle care, nail filing, NOTHING.  Plus, the two tools that were used were used on the client before me (I saw them).  The tub where my feet were soaked was only given a quick rinse before I was seated, and didn't look clean at all.  Did I mention the bad polish job?  Not exaggerating, there are places on my nails with no polish, one that is actually lumpy, and they sent me out the door without letting me sit to allow the nails to dry, and didn't give me cotton between my toes or anything even after I asked.  My nails are a wreck and I just had the pedicure done.  Plus, my feet don't have that fresh, soft feel I've come to love after a pedicure.  I'm seriously going to another place today to pay for a new pedicure.  

The girl was nice enough, but she obviously didn't know what she was doing.  I didn't even bother to complain since no amount of complaining was going to teach her how to do a pedicure.  I will NEVER go there again.
