We would not buy their products again nor would we recommend their products to anyone we know.
We are also planning to let Home Depot know of our experiences - they need to know what their suppliers are not doing for their customers.

This is a product that is available through your local home improvement store. I had a difficult time placing the order since it is very hard to find anyone to help you with anything at most any store you go to in the San Fernando Valley, I've found. Once I got someone knowledgeable enough to help me place the order, it was okay. That is, until someone was sent to my home to measure my door to make sure the order was placed correctly. They sent out a sub-contractor, who showed up on my doorstep at 6:30 am and woke my dog, thereby waking up my 4 year old son. I needed to leave for work, so I asked him to move his truck out of my driveway (I was told I needn't be at home for the measuring.) He argued with me, saying he'd only be 5 minutes. When he finally moved and I left for work, he rang my doorbell and started asking my babysitter questions she didn't know the answers to. (All this at 6:30 am, mind you.) The company really redeemed itself when the product was delivered and installed.

We had some problems with the initiation of the order. When I finally called Unique Home Designs, they resolved the problem quickly. Home Depot was a disappointment. The gate was beautiful. The install was professional.

WE WERE THRILLED TO FIND THAT OUR DESIRE FOR A SECURITY DOOR TO LET THE BREEZE RUN THROUGH WHILE WE ARE ROAMING THE HOUSE OR EVEN NOT HOME, AND IT DID NOT LEAVE US TO HAVE AN APARTMENT/UTILITARIAN LOOKING DESIGN. THIS STUNNING DESIGN WAS CUSTOM TO OUR HOME DESIGN AND MOTIF. IT HAS A DECADE WARRANTY AND IT WAS PROMPTLY AND VERY PROFESSIONALLY HANDLED. OUR ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD IS JEALOUS AND WE HAVE THE SECURITY WE WANT. GO TO THEIR WEBSITE!
