Before the installation, at the time of his estimate, Mike showed me the exact valves, timer, plastic piping and tubing he intended to use, and explained why, which I appreciated.  His was one of three estimates I obtained, and was the most detailed.  Based on his presentation, I probably would have chosen him for the work even if his price hadn't been the lowest.  He did not require a deposit in advance, but only requested payment in full upon completion and my satisfaction.
He promised to come at 6 a.m., and he and his other workers arrived promptly and went to work, which was completed in about 6 hours, leaving my yard and driveway neat, clean and swept, with no sign of all the digging.  After completion, he showed me all the emitters and bubblers, the gallons each was set to deliver, and left with me a schedule from the Department of Agriculture showing how much and how often plants and trees should be watered in this area at the different times of the year.  He demonstrated how the timer had been set and how to change it in the future.  He was professional from start to finish and I am very pleased with the result.

Mike was amazing! one zone wasn't getting enough pressure to pop up the risers. he diagnosed the problems and needed to replace the timer and three heads. These were all problems that were not detected by my landscaper. He explained everything in detail which I like. love to know the whys and hows. will definitely use him again and recommend to everyone!

Dug new trenches and laid heavy tubing.  Hooked to 2 new valves, one for trees and one for shrubs. Installed new timer. Mike explained how to set system and gave me advice as to best schedule. He and his crew were very professional. They arrived on time and didn't leave untill everything was cleaned up. Actually left yard better looking than they found it. Are having them come back next year after we plant more shrubs. Highly recommend them.

Mike from Trenchmasters was great.  Came out, found the problem (caused by the previous landscaper), explained what was going on, showed us the broken parts as he pulled them out, provided options, and fixed it in less than 12 hours from when we first called him.  He's not the cheapest provider out there for irrigation issues, but he's less than most and the service is great.  Angie's List does not have a 'Value' rating (which I think is unfortunate), but I would definitely give him an 'A' for value, becaue you get what you pay for.  I have full confidence that when he's done things are fixed properly and the issue is resolved.  Trenchmasters is our irrigation provider going forward..

Mike Smith, owner/operator was punctual and professional.  We have 1.25 acres.  He made recommendations that were cost effective and explained reasons.  Once work was agreed upon, he arrived as promised with a team and performed the work.  He added some extra lines we requested and made some modifications at no additional cost.  We were very satisfied with the quality and have highly recommended him to others.  I would use him again but don't expect we will need him based on the quality of materials and workmanship.

Mike arrived  in the first half of the time he said he would be there.  He opened the controllers for both systems as well as the main timer device to check for any problems.
He cleaned out both controllers and replaced the bad parts in the controller for the back yard.  He showed me some interesting control options I was unaware of as well as when to call him again in the case of certain system problems.
He is a very friendly person and steady and complete in getting his work done.

I  am new to my home and found a leak in my front sprinkler. I called Trenchmasters last Thursday. They said they could come out on Monday between 9-10. He gave me an estimate over the phone. Mike came out on Monday exactly on time! He checked my front and back sprinklers. He also found another leak that I didn't know I had in the back and repair that one too. He showed my how my system worked and how to use it. He was awesome! I didn't  feel he was trying to cheat me being a female. I was very comfortable and extremely satisfied with his professionalism and his work.

I had my old irrigation system replaced with a good quality one after Mike patched it up several times within a short period of time. The estimate was reasonable and the work was completed as scheduled with a high level of precision and care. Mike and his team were courteous and respectful.  My yard was returned to pristine condition and I was unable to tell that he had dug trenches.

Got an estimate from Mike and scheduled the work.  Said he would be at my house at 6 am and showed up on time.  Had told me that the job might take 6 hours but it only took 4.  The whole crew was very friendly, worked expeditiously and dug the new trenches and laid the new lines in very little time.  They did a superb job in cleaning up to where I could not notice where they had dug the trenches.  Mike then took the time to check me out on the watering schedule and set up my timer.  He was very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him

I got three bids and Mike was in the middle.  He quickly replied to my
request for a quote, came to the house when he said he would and I had
his email quote that afternoon!.  Two days before he was scheduled to do
the job, he had scheduled a line locate to make sure he knew where the
power/water/electric lines were and he stopped by to make sure it was
done!  He and his crew arrived on the morning the scheduled day and by noon
we had a sprinkler system installed and running.  The yard was clean,
all the sidewalks hosed off and clean and when I paid him, I had a paid
bill in my email inbox within minutes!  
Great experience and easy to work with.

The owner Mike came out and did a great job, made some small fixes, and educated me on the system. It was exactly what I was looking for.

7/12/2014 - Update - I've had Mike come out for two more jobs (repairs) in the last year. He's always been flexible, responsive and fair with his pricing. Highly recommend.

Great service, showed up on time, gave great options and explained everything. Went above and beyond to fix a few extra small things that needed attention. Very professional and got the work done quickly!

He did more than we expected and has great prices. He came within the half hour that I was having problems. I would recommend everyone to him! He did an excellent job!

Mike arrived exactly when he said he would, replaced the valve, cleaned up and left. Took about 30 minutes. Good experience all around.

Mike came the day after we talked, was right on time, and very professional. I will not hesitate to recommend him.

He came out and didn't do what he was supposed to. He didn't fix the leak. All he did was replace a sprinkler head. And he wasn't very polite to me about it because I mentioned that I called Angie's List and I was supposed to get a 10% discount and he got upset. He said, "I'm already cut discounting my price and I can't afford to do it anymore."

My mother is in her blate 80's and had some irrigation lines rupture due to tree roots.  I am out of state for the summer and could not take care of this for her.  After reading the reviews on Angie's I chose Trenchmasters.
My mom was getting stressed about no one wanting to take on such a small "repair"... and losing her plants in the hot AZ sun.... but our experience of Mike was just the opposite.  He was out there within 2 days, was very respectful to my mother, worked his butt off in the hot temps, and fixed her system for a very fair price.  I am really grateful to guys like Mike that will take the time to help out elderly people... it means a lot and shows a lot about the character of this guy. 
I think you would be very happy to use this firm if you need irrigation services.

Scott Woodford showed up the same day as we called to get service. Performed the repair to our sprinkler system in a timely and professional manner and at a reasonable cost. We are very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company to anyone that has issues with your lawn irrigation or might need someone to do an installation.

A handyman tried to fix the broken sprinkler valve but didn't have the right fittings and it broke again and flooded the yard, so I phoned Trenchmasters. He came when he said he would to give an estimate. Although it was late and he had already done a full day's work he offered to fix it the same afternoon. I was due to go on vacation a couple of days later so I really appreciated getting it fixed as soon as possible. He had to do a lot of digging but the end result was a professional job, tidily cleaned up afterwards, with a guarantee of the work.

Called Mike based on other positive customer reviews.  He called back within 15 minutes and came to my house a short time later.  He found the problem, fixed it and then cleaned up afterwards.  It took him more time to access the problem area than it did for him to fix the leak.  Extremely responsive and a very professional job. Very reasonably priced too and I would highly recommend.

Prompt, professional, and price was right too.  I will definitely go to I Fix Sprinklers in the future.  I put their sticker into my timer.  Mike did not try to pad the bill with extraneous or unnecesssary suggestions.  No cross selling ... just good service with the more win-win attitude of service calls in the future from us and the reference to our friends and Angies List.

They are outstanding. The young man told me to call whenever I have a problem. He was thorough and fixed poor work from another service provider.
