My husband and I have just relocated to Arizona. Within weeks of moving in, we received a letter from our HOA requesting that a large tree on our property needed to be trimmed immediately or we would face a fine. Anxious to be good rule-abiding homeowners, we started calling around looking for service. (At the time, I was not a member of Angie's list! - what a shame...) Through a google search, we found Tree Doctors website, contacted them via email and received a call back the following morning. The estimate and work were completed the same day. The crew was outstanding in every respect. They consulted with us every step of the way to ensure that the tree would be trimmed as we desired. In addition to the beautiful work, the area was left scrupulously clean and tidy. I am not sure which office we were dealing with - most probably Phoenix. However, since it is a family-owned company, I have entered my report for the location which popped up when I searched Angie's List.

Called the office and requested an estimate to trim a young Sissoo tree and a very large Silk Oak. Lorenzo came out the next day and gave me the estimate. I scheduled them for the following Monday. The crew arrived promptly but discovered bees were inhabiting a cavity in the silk oak trunk. They trimmed the sissoo while I called for a bee exterminator and left. The bees were exterminated that afternoon and Tree Doctors North returned on Wednesday (recommended to wait 2 days after extermination) and trimmed the silk oak.

An estimate was scheduled for a few days after I called. Dave explained what needed to be done and wrote a detailed description of the work on his estimate sheet. As soon as I approved the work order, the company came out to do the work. The crew of four men arrived during the window of time I was given. They were efficient, pleasant and conscientious in asking me to look at the finished work in case I had any questions or concerns. They performed the work very well and cleaned up after it was done. I'm pleased with the results.

Overall, they were very responsive and professional. They didn't rush me or anything, but the fact that they didn't warn me about the mesquite tree. So, that kind of ruined the whole thing for me. In general, I think they know their stuff. This was just a bad prognosis.

Wonderful. Carol was a joy to work with over the phone and went above and beyond to squeeze us in around their busy schedule and our own current home renovation & construction projects. She also talked me through working with the local power company to have my power lines taken down temporarily to make sure that everything would be done safely. Lorenzo came out promptly to give a very detailed quote, and was very friendly & helpful. The team of half a dozen arborists & trimmers did an amazing job while suspended high in the air, certainly a sight to see! I will definitely be calling them back in the future, and heartily recommend them to anyone needing quality tree servicing.

They finished the work quickly and did a good job. They are reasonable and very professional. They were going to miss the appointment so they called and rescheduled with in a good amount of time. I would recommend them to other people any time. They are great.

I am pleased with the service and price. They did this in one day and included hauling and cleaning everything up. This was back in July, HOT! There were a few branches etc left on the roof and side of the house but nothing major.

PRICES QUOTED CHANGED WHEN WORKERS ARRIVED ON SITE. THEY DID THE WORK LAST YEAR, AND I EXPECTED THEY KNEW WHAT THE JOB WAS WHEN THEY SENT ME THE QUOTE FOR THIS YEAR.

DO A GREAT JOB OF TRIMMING TREES (ALL SIZES) AND HAVE AN ENGLISH-SPEAKING FOREMAN.

GETTING AN APPOINTMENT WAS EASY. THEY ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY WERE NOT IN A HURRY. THEY ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS AND EXPLAINED TO ME STEP BY STEP WHAT TO DO. THEY OFFERED TO COME BACK AT NO CHARGE AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME IF I FELT NO IMPROVEMENT HAD BEEN MADE AFTER FOLLOWING THEIR ADVICE.
