Sos Exterminating - Phoenix

The Pest Control bi-monthly was great, Good service and effective. Termite prevention was a big waste of money.The service tech refused to show up as scheduled, no show and no call or explaination three times. Customer service does not like to respond to complaints or issues.I canceled all service due to lack of respect.

I've been with this company for approx 10 yrs and couldn't be happier with the service they have provided for us in Peoria and Prescott AZ. I recommend them all the time!

We have had their monthly exterminating service for over 10 years, and always are completely satisfied.

I have a 5 year warranty for termite extermination from this provider on my entire home (no
spot treatment).  After only 3 years the termites are back in the same
place and have eaten the wood floor again (which was replaced with new
flooring after the last time).   After I found the termites I called SOS
to have them come look at the damage and treat the home again.
At first they were very nice until I told them it was under warranty.  Then I had
to be transferred to the manager.  Only the manager could help me.   I
called both morning and evening on Aug 12, Aug 13, and Aug 14.  No
return calls.  The receptionist said the "manager" was in and she would
email him so he would call me.  Nothing.  It took a complaint to the
Better Business Bureau for them to return my call.
Do I want them to retreat my home that's under warranty?  No. 
First they "blew me off" and thought I'd go away if they didn't call back.
Second the termites are back in less than 3 years.  Obviously they didn't kill them the first time why would the second time help?
Third the "fixer" was patronizing and offered no solutions and the excuse that "the manager was on vacation".
Fourth the company had the gall to say that I never fixed the floors from the time of the first treatment and that the damage was OLD damage, not new. 
No way to run a business. 

The first visit on October 31 was not particularly thorough due to pavers under the window and the technician's unwillingness to remove them or drill through them.  I had the pavers removed in that area and  I worked directly with Mike at the office who got me a quick appointment for a deep treatment.  The second technician was extremely thorough and knowledgable.  Mike was a pleasure to work with.

The employees at SOS are well meaning professionals but the service provided was unsatisfactory nonetheless.

I have had service done with them since 1992.  There isn't anything I strongly like or dislike about them.  I think the person who comes to my door deserves an A, but the company itself deserves a B.  The price is a little high.

I am very satisfied with the work they do for me; I really haven’t had any insect problems.  He calls ahead of time and lets me know he is coming.  He is competent.

They are professional, knowledgeable and did a very good job. They were prompt and followed through.

It was uneventful and quite strange in as much as there was no follow-up. I think they could?ve done a better quality job. We had used them for an annual inspection prior to that.

They came over and did the termite treatment. I didn't have a termite problem, but they just did an inspection and sprayed for termites. They seemed to do a good job.

They knew I was going to be out of warranty soon and they did the work for me as fast as they could. They were responsible and reliable and I would recommend them to other people. They were courteous and on time. The price was reasonable as well.

We knew it was a time-consuming process (3 hours), but the inspector did not seem rushed. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and did a complete job.

WE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT AND THEY CAME OUT AND DID A GOOD JOB. NO MORE PESKY ANTS. THESE PEOPLE WERE RECOMMENDED BY THE LEASING OFFICE IN THE PARK WHERE WE RESIDE.

THEY SPLATTERED OUR WINDOWS AND SCREENS. THEY ALSO HAD US CLEAN OUT OUR GARAGE CABINETS BEFORE THEY CAME, WHICH TURNED OUT TO BE UNNECESSARY. THEY JUST SWEPT UP THE DUST AFTER DRILLING, BUT THEY SHOULD HAVE VACUUMED UP THE MATERIAL.

WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF LOOKING FOR A NEW EXTERMINATING COMPANY. THIS ONE IS OK, BUT I DON'T THINK THEY DO A GREAT JOB.

EXTERMINATOR WAS ALWAYS ON TIME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. WE DID NOT LIKE THE EXTRA $60 WE HAD TO PAY FOR A SERVICE CONTRACT FEE (ANNUALLY).

I HAVE HAD SOS AS MY PEST CONTROL COMPANY FOR THREE YEARS NOW AND HAVE ALWAYS BEEN SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE. I USED TO HAVE A LOT OF OUTSIDE BUGS SUCH AS CRICKETS AND ROACHES THAT ATTRACTED THE SCORPIONS WITH MY OLD SERVICE, BUT SINCE SWITCHING I HAVE HAD FEW PROBLEMS. I DON'T EVEN HAVE TO HAVE THE INSIDE OF MY HOME SPRAYED ANYMORE WHICH MAKES ME FEEL BETTER!

WE HAVE HAD THE TERMITE WARRANTY FOR FIVE YEARS WITH S.O.S. THEY COME OUT ANNUALLY AND CHECK FOR TERMITES. THEY ALWAYS REMIND US WITH A LETTER AND ARE PROMPT WITH RETURNING PHONE CALLS. WHEN THEY DID FIND TERMITES ONCE, THEY CAME OUT AND DRILLED HOLES AND INJECTED THE CHEMICALS TO TAKE CARE OF THE PROBLEM.

HARD TO SCHEDULE AND DIDN'T ARRIVE ON TIME. THEN SEEMED RELUNCTANT TO PROVIDE REQUESTED SERVICE.

INSPECTORS WERE THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL. PRICES OF WARRANTIES WERE VERY COMPETITIVE.

PRICES WERE VERY COMPETITIVE. WORKERS WERE FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. TREATMENT WAS VERY THOROUGH.

CHEAPER OUT OF 2 OTHER COMPANIES, VERY RELIABLE, PRICE IS RIGHT, CHEMICALS REALLY WORK, HARDLY ANY BUGS AND ZERO SCORPIONS.

PRIOR TO WARRANTY EXPIRING, AND BEFORE RENEWING FOR ANOTHER YEAR, THEY WILL COME OUT AND PERFORM A COMPLETE INSPECTION OF THE HOUSE, INSIDE AND OUT. IF THEY DISCOVER ANYTHING, THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY SCHEDULE A DAY TO HAVE THE WORK PERFORMED.

USED SAME COMPANY 12 YEAR. VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COURTEOUS. ONLY RECOMMEND SERVICES NECESSARY. THEY WEAR PROTECTIVE 'BOOTIES' WHEN WALKING ON YOUR CARPET.
