It was exceptionally good. My insurance covered it, so I paid $500 deductible. They came out within hours after I called. They put about a dozen big fans in there for two days to dry everything out and then they came back and did a moisture check and fungus check. They were pretty thorough.

On the first day a technician from Servpro arrived at the agreed time at the house. He check for moisture and any signs of mold at or near the areas in the cabinets around the sink in the kitchen. Due to the nature of the appearance of the drywall on the wall under the sink the wall was opened to allow inspection behind the drywall for signs of mold. The demolition included opening a hole about 3 feet by 2 feet in the wall, removing the insulation and documenting the back of the drywall and inside areas of the wall between the studs down to the footer and sill plate lumber. No signs of water or mold were observed or detected.
The next day a contractor arrived to reconstruct the demolition done by the Servpro technician. The insulation was replaced and drywall was reapplied. Tape and drywall mud was applied, allowed to dry and then textured. The plumbing fixtures were reassembled and reconnected to the appropriate lines. Job completed.

We came home to a flooded condo because of a common pipe clog between units. The plumber we used had a different service come out to give us an estimate of the clean up which was $3500. with no details attached. I called Sevpro, they came out quickly, gave me an itemized estimate witha minimum and maximum amount. They did the work spanning over a week, with regular updates, and the final amount came in towards the lower side of the estimate. They did a great job and we would highly recommend them!

They gave terrible service and were referred by my insurance agency. They subcontract each job to a different contractor. All of the subcontractors were horrible. For example, the painting job was terrible, I'm going to redo it myself. The installation of new floor trim was very poorly done. I had to have someone come and redo the joints. The floor trim used was thinner than what was used in the rest of the house. The man who came to install and paint it use the wrong color. He used an exterior white on the trim. When he arrived to paint the drywall he had the wrong sheen and had to stop the job and return another day with the correct finish. Then he was supposed to regrout around the floor trim. He did it with the wrong color but it wasn't grout, he used a dark brown caulk where the true grout is a sandy color. Another team had to be sent out to remove his caulk and regrout in the correct color. The carpet had been flooded and needed to be replaced. The carpet company sent a woman to do all the measuring. She was supposed to return with samples to match what we had but she quit the company so they sent another person and had to start over with new measurement and the experience with him was unfortunate as well. He never followed through, he never called me back to let me know that he was working on my job. I had to call to ask, when he showed up it was with a poor quality sample that didn't match. He supposedly was going to meet with people to find a match but I never heard from him.

I had a horrible, horrible experience. I would warn everyone against using this company against restoration work. They cost me two months of agony even though they backcharged much of the cost because it was so poorly done.

On March 7th, I returned home in the late afternoon to find wet carpet in my master bedroom and the sound of water running - as I walked thru the bedroom toward the master bathroom, I saw water standing all over my vinyl tile floor and sound of water coming from the water closet behind the closed door. I opened the door and saw water coming over the top of the tank and over an inch of water all over the floor - between me and the shutoff valve. I was afraid of slipping and falling, but knew that the situation would only get worse until I shut off the water, so I waded in and turned the valve. Thankfully, that ended the flow of new water to the lake all over my bathroom. I opened the door to the walk-in closet, carpeted, and saw that it was soaked also. I had never had anything like this happen in 35 years of home ownership, and was really flustered by such a Large mess --- but happy that the water had stopped running. I phoned my insurance company (Hartford via AARP) and explained what had happened. The representative took the information and said that they used Serv-Pro for clean-up of water damage, but that I was free to choose another company. I checked Angie's List and decided to go with Serv-Pro. I soaked up as much of the water on the vinyl floor as I could and decided to call them in the morning. It was cold, dark, and I was upset and tired and couldn't face having workmen coming in at night. When I called the next morning, I gave them my insurance claim number and they told me that they would be at my home later that morning. I have a dog who doesn't allow strange men in the house, and I told them I would need to escort them to the rooms via the backyard, and they agreed to let me handle keeping my dog away from their work. They arrived promptly, the leader explained that he would conduct an inspection of the damage and let me know what work would be necessary. He asked for permission to visit the next bedroom to check for water leakage also. He knocked to get my attention (avoiding my dog) and let me know that they would need to take the flooring out and leave fans in the areas - running for 3 days - to help dry the walls (drywall) and area as a whole. Every 24 hours, a crew would visit and would check on their equipment and the condition of the walls. He answered my concerns about any danger regarding electrical shorts in a fan (they have auto shut-off if tipped over or shorting) and had me sign a paper explaining the damage and work to be done. They worked hard for hours and checked with me before leaving - my bedroom/bath/closet area was covered with small noisy fans blowing full force. Crew members came back Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to check on the progress of the dry-out. On Saturday, they said that progress was good and that they would probably be able to pack up the fans on the next day. When they came Sunday (each day they came at approximately the same time, except for Sunday - they said they were giving as much time as possible for it to be dried out), they said that the job was complete and they took the fans and cords and packed them up. They had me sign a final paper, and they were gone. The restoration still needs to be done, but the clean-up of water and the dry-out was accomplished. The crews were punctual, communicated clearly and were friendly and professional. They relieved my mind and cleaned up a big mess.

The two young men that handled my service call were young and very professional. They thoroughly inspected and assessed the area where the leak occurred. They gave me a detailed description of what they found and a quote (price range) of what their service may cost (note that dry out time depends on several factors including the weather so they couldn't provided an exact amount upfront).

They did exactly what they said they would do and were on time for the service and follow up calls. Ultimately, the price of the service was at the low end of the range they provided. I was completely satisfied with their service.

All members of the supervisory team were responsive. I was out of state for most of the project, so heavily relied on vendor coordination amongst the supervisors. I had a neighbor who oversaw the process on a daily basis. I have no issues or concerns with the immediate remediation and professionalism of the team. The pack out was coordinated with the flooring vendor and Servpro, as was the return of the furnishings. We had to stagger the time of some of Servpro's repair crew with the flooring project. Overall, they worked it out amongst themselves. I had the flooring vendor be the coordinator with the painting vendor and servpro. I am truly amazed how it all worked out with me being a few thousand miles away! I had some issues with the Servpro painting subcontractor for the laundry room. My concerns were addressed to my satisfaction.

The movers were great and a good team.

I want to thank Holly of Servpro for her office coordination of the project. ....contracts, etc.

Overall, I would highly recommend Servpro for their management of water abatement and packout process. They are true to their mission. I so appreciated how various vendors/contractors all worked together. (And my neighbor for letting them in and out of the house.) It helped very much that they all had previous work relations on other projects. There was alot of trust involved on my part!

Washing machine water line leaked sending water into the dining room, one bedroom, and through the laundry room wall onto the landing in the garage. Servpro of Gilbert was out within 2 hours of our call. They removed standing water and extracted water from the carpet, pulled back the carpet and removed the carpet pad to allow for drying. They removed all the water damaged base boards and treated the walls with a mold retardant. They then left high power fans to complete the drying process. They came back daily for the next 2 days to ensure the drying process was complete. They were very professional and courteous. We did not have to pay anything for the service call as Servpro billed out insurance company. I would highly recommend Servpro of Gilbert and would use them again.

Washer overflowed and damaged large number of rooms' baseboards and walls (some partial rooms). The drying was okay although so noisy and odorous that we almost moved out. There was insulation in all the walls that I was concerned about, but they assured me it was all dry. The subcontractor who was to replace the baseboards was only about getting the job done. He did well on the quality and fitting of the baseboards, but was very neglible on the grouting between the baseboard and tile. It was not done well and we had holes very soon where it had opened up below the baseboard. He had asked that I sign an agreement as soon as he was finished that it was okay. While it was wet it looked fine, but when it dried, it was a different story. I had showed him the original grout that had been used thinking he would be able to figure out matching color. He iinsisted on using it. It was 7 years old. Since then I have learned he could have put in a much better product that works with connecting wood and tile, but this cut his cost. I called Serve Pro, and they said they would do something about it. They never got back to me and I let it slide for a while, but the grout kept getting worse. When I finally called Holley, she was alarmed that she had not heard about it and nothing had been done. She was ready to send someone out immediately. I told her I didn't want the subcontractor to come. Their new person in charge at ServPro was very helpful. He knew a product that would work well and said he would come back himself and put it on all the baseboard grout lines. He did an excellent job even after we had long paid them. In spite of everything, I would hire them again because I think they would make things right.

We were very pleased with the knowledgeable assessment of the situation and the use of proper and effective equipment to remedy the problem. The employee of Servpro was attentive and kept in close touch as they monitored the situation. I was very pleased that they took into account the fact that we were paying for this ourselves and did not charge as they would have had the insurance been paying.

The first painters were sent to paint, and did an unacceptable job: patches poorly covered, edges cooked, etc. Upon complaint, the owner came to see the paint, & sent in another crew, who repainted the entire surface previously painted. They did a good paint job. The contractor reduced the cost because of the problem.

It went very well. They were very timely and thorough. When there's mold, you have to be careful that it's not disease-causing. They checked all that and made sure it was safe.
