I have relied on Red Mountain Air Conditioning since December 2013 for HVAC installation and preventative maintenance, water heater installation, hot water circulation and handyman services. Without exception, the technicians assigned have been friendly and efficient. They arrive in a target time window with a call ahead. All work is explained and questions answered. Charges are detailed and I consider costs are competitive. Vendor-customer relationship is essential. I am completely satisfied in that regard. It was pretty good. They did their best to bury the wires in the rocks and they haven't been bothered since.

I have used this company before and again selected them to install two new units at a (now rental) property in Tucson. They do service that area despite the long distance, and based on my positive experience with them last year, I choose them again after comparing their prices to other local Tucson vendors. Again, apples to apples, they were more responsive and less expensive than others.  The install went well in Tucson. A few weeks later, the tenant noted one of the units stopped working. Red Mountain dispatched a tech the next day, and discovered only a loose connection that was missed on the install originally. The system was working within 30 minutes and has worked now for 3 months without issues.  I also recently decided to install a ductless mini-split in my Scottsdale garage which doubles as an occasional workshop. I have several vendors comes out and spec it out, and Red Mountain - again with the Carrier product line - was the least expensive. This required them to route the refrigerant lines through the attic, which is actually quite a bit of work compared to just punching the lines out through a wall. The condenser is not terribly close to the air handlers and it was a day and a half of work for 2-3 guys.  At the end, however, my garage is much cooler. They did point out that I needed more insulation in the walls and ceiling to optimize this performance, and I will be doing that shortly. Overall another positive experience with this company, and to date I have purchased 6 units for two houses with them and I have been very pleased with the overall process. I would use them again, but hopefully I'm done buying AC units for awhile!

The house I recently purchased had 15 year old systems and I wanted newer, quieter and more efficient systems. I researched and wanted Carrier Infinity units with variable speeds. I had four companies come in and I carefully parsed their bids so I was comparing apples to apples. While all were fine, Red Mountain and Efficiency made it to the last round. Efficiency is a great company with great service, but their prices for the exact same product was substantially higher. Red Mountain folks - and Dave was my key contact - were comparably impressive and did a fine job overall, from start to finish. They were done in two days, and there were no real problems at all. I love the new systems, and per my plan Red Mountain will come back soon to adjust the balance of the ducts. I've used them also to replace a hot water heater tank and fix a few igniters.  Overall I'm very pleased with their service and price point.

Very professional and honest service providers

My tenant was having a problem with The a/c was not coming on. The a/c on the property is over a decade and nearing time to be replaced. We replaced a unit at my house and It cost over $5000. I was sure this was going to be the same scenario. Red Mountain arrived out the same day I called and fixed my issue before my tenant arrived home from work. I was surprised that they fixed my unit versus just trying to sell me a replacement. Thanks red mountain for your prompt service!

The tech checked the outside unit and detected low coolant and a few other problems, but because I did not realize I had a home warranty I did not have him fix anything. The tech was good and throw

Job went smooth as always, they were here on time and got the job done in the time frame they stated!

The job went as stated by Red Mountain and the service technician (Tom) was both completed on time and in a very professional manner. I  will use Red Mountain in the future and ask for Tom.

Replacing my 2 old A/C systems with new Trane 2-ton systems was a very large job.  They did thorough, professional work, but it took longer than the 2 days planned.  It took another 2 visits to re-do a few things and finish up, which they did promptly and correctly.  The final installed systems are working very well and providing mush appreciated cold air.
My previous upstairs unit was 1.5 ton and undersized.  The larger 2-ton system is working much better and can actually cool the upstairs in the hot afternoon (the old system just kept running).
Red Mountain did a good job for a reasonable price, and I am satisfied with the final installed product.
