MaidPro East Valley

We've had various cleaning services over the last 20 years and, for the most part, the quality of the cleaning has been fine--essentially substitutable goods. The difference has been in the quality of the front office management. We worked with Maid Pros of the East Valley for about 4-5 months. Their cleaners were punctual, friendly, and competent. Our issue was that their schedulers sent a different crew nearly every time for the period while made it hard (1) for us to really come to know and trust the cleaners and (2) for the cleaners to know the house. We ended up repeating ourselves time after time about how we'd like things done; and directions were often not transmitted cleaning to cleaning, e.g. about where to put the trash, how to handle the art work, areas of particular concern for us. They claimed all this information was transmitted in "the binder" but in practice, this was simply not the case. In our view, this all contributed to crews running over--sometimes significantly by our clock, which oddly didn't seem to match the reported time. We brought our concerns to the attention of the scheduler and asked for consistency in cleaners and, preferably, a two person crew to reduce the time they were in the house (one of us works at home so this was important). The next week they sent one person who had never been there and, to boot, charged us for extra time without authorization and against their own policy that requires them to check with the resident before going over. It's hard to see how our requests were unreasonable. In any case, we've given up on Maid Pros and will move on to another service.

They do an excellent job. They clean everywhere and they give you a chance to provide feedback after each visit and they keep the notes in a notebook the cleaners bring with them with their checklist so they remember what things you like done.

They cleaned the entire house, dividing duties among the three workers. They dusted, cleaned bathrooms, vacuumed, cleaned the kitchen and such.

There was some difficultly, where I needed the cleaning, it was to another vendor. Once the job got handed to the correct company it went well. I had them vacuum, clean the windows and blinds. They also cleaned the bathrooms too. They emailed me the invoice, because I was not home when they performed the cleaning.

They chatted with each other a lot and talked on cell phones. I feel this slows them down. I left for a while to run errands, very little cleaning got done while I was gone.  The floors were not clean, and they missed things. There was a beer cap on the floor, just barely under the refrigerator, which was visible. For that kind of money I feel my 1776 square ft townhouse which was empty by the way should have been spotless. I hired this company a couple of times about a year & a half ago, different girls were sent to clean & they did a good job.

Our home as we use as a rental property was cleaned top to bottom - floors, bathrooms, Kitchen, all bedrooms.  The 2 girls were busy from the minute they arrived.  I had asked them to check on the walls for dirt smuges and mud splats from the dogs, they usually do not do walls but would not leave until these areas were cleaned so the the job looked complete.  Excellent job.

I scheduled Maidpro for 4 hours of cleaning.  They sent two women to clean for two hours to get the job done faster.  They were prompt, very polite and professional.  They asked a couple brief questions, then were eager to get started.  They worked hard and did a fantastic job.  My house sparkled and smelled soooo good!  They were able to get the tubs and a couple other areas cleaner than I was ever able to do, and I consider myself somewhat of a neat freak.  This was a special treat for me, and if I were to use a cleaning service again in the future I would definitely have them come back.
