Michael Conley of Golden Bear Contracting, LLC is an exceptional contractor. The quality of his work is top of the line and his professionalism and timeliness is the best. Michael removed a tub in our master bedroom bathroom and installed a beautiful walk-in porcelain tile shower. His pricing is very reasonable and fair. I would have Michael and his company perform any further remodeling that we need.

I am extremely happy that I chose Golden Bear Contracting to do our bathroom remodels! I had 3 bathrooms that were in need of updating, 2 of them were quite a large job. Our master bath needed new countertops, mirrors, sinks, faucets, a tub removed, flooring installed, a reconfigured shower, and paint. It turned out fabulous! Our secondary bathroom needed a facelift as well with new countertops, mirrors, sinks, faucets, tile in the shower, an enclosed bathtub, and paint. Again, fabulous job by Mike. He was always there when he said he would be, a true hard-working professional, and a joy to work with. I had a ton of questions since I had never done any type of remodeling and Mike was so patient and always got right back with me. I can't say enough about Mike and how happy I am with the work that he did. Look no further...you'll be happy that you chose Golden Bear, just like all of the reviews say!!

Don't look any farther in your search for a general contractor! Can't say enough about the professionalism of Golden Bear Contracting. He does all the work himself, no subcontractors. We remodeled our home in Gilbert that our son and daughter-in-law live in: full bathroom remodels in the master and guest bath, and installation of a new tile floor in the laundry room. Mike was there promptly every morning, worked hard and finished the job in the timeframe promised. He cleaned up as he went and we couldn't be happier with the result! One of the best things about this company is that he came out and gave us ways to save money as he was measuring for the estimate. (We had one company that didn't even want to come out and instead requested that we send pics and do all the measuring ourselves...and they came in much higher in their estimate!). Mike put together an estimate that was very reasonable, including averages for ALL materials. It was perfect because we then had the option to purchase all our materials, with no pressure and managed to come in under budget. Some items we chose were higher in price than his included materials budget, and many were lower. This made the whole process much easier and we got exactly what we wanted. Since we are out of town, Mike kept us informed every step of the way, with new revisions to the invoice as we chose materials. He is very honest, dependable, and we will definitely hire him again should we decide to do further work on the house. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Outstanding company to work with. Top notch workmanship and customer service. Built a beautiful shower for us. Mike promptly responded to all of my questions and gave us a detailed estimate and drawings. Work was done right on schedule. Mike and Aaron always showed up on time and left the work area spotless. Michael Conley of Goldenbear was more than professional. His workmanship was first rate. His helper (I have forgotten his name) was also friendly and performed high-quality work. I brought in Golden Bear to address some poor workmanship by another contractor. Within 5 minutes, Michael had pin-pointed everything that was done incorrectly including a couple of issues I had not noticed. He was clear about how he would fix the issues and provided detailed quotes within 48 hours. Arizona needs more contractors like Golden Bear! Golden Bear will be working on a new shower and replacement front-door in the very near future. He will be my go-to contractor in the future!

I cannot say enough about Mike and Golden Bear Contracting! When the master shower wasn't draining properly after a poor remodel from another contractor due to a high set drain, Mike came in and took care of it all! He demolished the improperly sloped floor tile, mud bed, and portions of the lower wall with impeccable precision to ensure there was no water damage and to install it the correct way. Mike then installed a correctly sloped mud bed, waterproofing, and drain. After that, he installed tile and grout to match the rest of the job, again with marksman precision. All of this work was done while he was careful not to damage the new glass or tile that was to remain that was just recently put in. Mike was on time every single day, not a minute late from when he said he would be there. He kept the house very clean during work with floor and wall protection. I would most definitely recommend Golden Bear Contracting to anyone needing any kind of remodeling or design services!
