Dr Balke is the doctor I normally see and she is great with the animals. She gets on the floor with them and is very compassionate. I would highly recommend her and I will continue to go to her.

Terrific. Staff were very caring, professional, and patient, will be using them for sure going forward. Our little guy was so comfortable he fell asleep!

They are very responsive, and responsible for making recommendations for care without embellishing the price of the service at all. They're very professional, they have excellent service. It takes about 20 minutes or so.

I've had multiple dogs taken to this vet over the years, and they've taken fantastic care of them. I've always felt like they've paid very close attention, and made sure my dogs were comfortable and happy, and you can tell that everyone there really like animals and wants the best outcome for them.

It went well. The Dr. thought it was ok but gave the dog an antibiotic shot. Also said to make sure the growth had not changed and was nothing more than the fatty tissue we would need to have it removed and analyzed. The total cost for this proccedure was estimated anywhere from 683.09 to 819.71.

The office staff members were welcoming and professional, and they took copies of my former records while we were waiting for the doctor. The doctor (and all of the doctors we've seen there) was professional and attentive to the needs of both my pet(s) and me. They recommended services but were not pushy about anything. I believe my animals are in the best of care at Gilbert Veterinary Clinic.

The staff is very friendly. They're fairly punctual and spend plenty of time so we never feel rushed. They've been very kind when we've had to put animals down before. I went one time when my dog was very sick and they took me back right away. I didn't even have to ask.

I honestly think that they are a little more expensive than the others. My dog was seeing another vet before but they totally differ from their price. I like the veterinarian's lower fees and that is the reason why I stay there. I like the way she handles the dog. She is just so concerned about him. He does not startle or scare him with the instrument that she uses. I like my vet and I would only requests my vet.

What a surprise to find out that our loyalty for being good customers of 18+ years was not good enough to be seen for care of a sick animal because we did not have an appointment. They would not even attempt to work us in. This was the first time I have ever requested same day help in all the years our pets have gone to Gilbert Vet Hospital. Since it was regular office hours, I was shocked that they would not even attempt to help. I was told they had no time available and to take her to the animal emergency care down the street if I thought it was life threatening. Our dogs problem wasn't serious enough to warrant paying for emergency care, but she was sick enough that we felt she could not wait several days for the next "available" appointment.
I hung up the phone in amazement and then went to Angie's list to find another vet. It only took one phone call to find a wonderful office that went out of their way to see our sick dog. It was a good thing we got in, because had we waited until Gilbert Vet Hospital had time to see us, our dogs health would had been in real jeopardy . Also we were amazed with how much less expensive the new vet was than Gilbert Vet Hospital. We will be permanently transferring to this new vet who actually cares about their patients.
The quality of care at Gilbert Vet Hospital has steadily declined over the past couple of years. Their staff seemed to change over frequently and nobody took the time to read our dogs chart since we always had to go over her history with every visit. Over the years the prices have steadily increased. Our last routine exam for yearly shots and blood-work was over $450, which I thought was outrageous!

The purpose of the visit was basically a "meet and greet" with Dr. Scott, because I was interviewing veterinarians to determine which practice best suited my needs and those of my animals. I was greeted very promptly and warmly by Morgan at the reception desk. She took my animals' records and made copies for their files. Kimberly (Technician) took us to the exam room. She was very thorough in taking down all my information and questions. Kimberly touched on some of the differences between CT (where I moved from) and AZ. This information was most helpful in acclimating me to the region's differences as they will apply to my animals.
After reviewing the dogs' files, Dr. Scott came in to discuss the dogs' histories. She examined both dogs and we discussed my one dog's ongoing issue with skin allergies, to which she proposed a treatment plan.
In addition, Dr. Scott was very thorough in educating me on the differences between CT and AZ, from flea and tick prevention to the symptoms and treatment of Valley Fever. She gave me a great overview of their practice (they have 6 veterinarians on staff), the locations of emergency vet clinics nearby, and a list of vet specialists in the immediate area.
Between Kimberly and Dr. Scott, my dogs and I spent 2 hours in the examination room, and it was time very well spent. I never felt rushed, as they both took great time and care in answering my questions and tending to my dogs. Both dogs were quite comfortable there - not at all a surprise to me, as they are a professional group, with a well-run practice and their patients are their first priority. All staff are very professional and knowledgable. I had checked out another vet practice in the area before finding Gilbert Veterinary Hospital. I will say that not all veterinarian offices are like GVH. I am thrilled to have found them (they were recommended by a friend) and will recommend them and sing their praises every chance I get.

They were really great with the pet. They were very well staffed, and the staff was very informative and helpful. I have not been to a lot of vets, so I don't know how their price would compare with others. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

I love GVH and so does my puppy. He hates to leave there. They are all so nice, friendly and professional. Only downside is that they are pricey. Sadly, I will have to take my pup somewhere else to be neutered because their price was just way too high. But for everything else, I'll continue to go to them.

The folks at Gilberts were very kind and understanding. They truly were caring and patient, explaining all of my options fully, to allow me to make a very hard decision. Their sympathy and kindness was greatly appreciated.

EXCELLENT. MY PETS HAVE RECEIVED SERVICES FROM MANY OF THE VETS. VERY CARING PROFESSIONALS WHO REALLY LOVE ANIMALS. THEY HANDLED THE DEATH OF ONE OF MY CATS WITH SENSITIVITY AND CARING. DURING ONE HEALTH ISSUE WITH ONE OF MY DOGS, THE VET CALLED ME SEVERAL TIMES AT NIGHT TO CHECK ON HER.

EXCELLENT, THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID SOME OF THE LAB WORK THERE WHILE I WAITED IN ORDER TO PRESCRIBE SOMETHING FOR ALLERGIES FROM THE GRASS.

I AM HAPPY WITH THIS VET & THE SERVICES THEY OFFER. I THINK THEY DID A THOROUGH JOB & WORK WELL WITH MY DOG. I THINK THEIR FEES ARE COMPARABLE TO WHAT OTHER VETS IN THIS AREA ARE CHARGING FOR THIS TYPE OF CHECK-UP.

RECENTLY MY FATHER'S DOG BECOME TO ILL TO LIVE. I TOOK MY MOTHER TO THE GILBERT VET HOSPITAL WITH THE DOG TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP. THE STAFF THERE WAS SO KIND AND CARING THAT IT MADE LOSING OUR FAMILY MEMBER OF 15 YEARS A LITTLE BIT EASIER. WE HAVE TAKEN ALL OF OUR ANIMALS THERE FOR THE LAST 20 YEARS AND THEY ALWAYS HAD THE BEST SERVICES, BUT THIS EXPERIENCE MADE THEM EVEN BETTER IN OUR EYES.
