"We are sorry for your experience, but the contract details were clearly explained and the requirement of the retainer seems to have been a problem on your end. We sent a scope of work, contract, and notice-to-proceed and you never returned it. We notified you via phone, text, and email that the retainer would have to be received prior to any work commencing. Your payment was never received and thus we moved on to other ventures. Please accept our apologies for the confusion and we wish you luck with your project."
"Although your review is obviously not what we desired from this outcome, it does afford us the opportunity to respond where any and all can view it. From the beginning of this project EPLS and our staff have been straightforward, honest and professional with you and your project. We are sorry that we could not make you happy, but there are some people that will never be happy, regardless of outcome. You asked for a boundary survey and map, which was delivered well within the agreed upon terms and conditions, and strictly within Arizona State Law governing their performance. Our unwillingness to ignore State Statutes and keep our survey a 'secret' from the neighbor you were having a dispute with was unethical, illegal and wrong of you to request. Your anger and belligerence when the results of our findings weren't what you wanted to see are no excuse for your reaction and vindictive review, but you are entitled to do whatever you wish with your wifi. When you blatantly told us not to record the survey because it showed that you were not going to get your way (again, an illegal and morally wrong request), we again denied you this and explained clearly the reasoning why. You were attempting to outright steal land from your neighbor using shady and downright deceptive maneuvers, and when we would not be complicit in this you become irate and delusional. Even after contract completion and delivery of all documentation (including recording), you continue to blame us for your failure to get your way. This survey began on 10/19 after we received the agreed retainer. We discussed findings and sent you a draft copy on 10/26 and informed you we had additional questions and needed to discuss the survey with you. You failed to respond to text, email or phone messages until 10/30. Meanwhile, we added in every detail and item you requested (and more). You reached out again on 11/3 asking for even more items to be shown on the survey, which we obliged to. Final payment was requested on 11/4 before we could provide any finalized surveys, recorded documents or information (all clearly stipulated as being delivered after final payment in our agreement). You made your final payment on 11/11 after close of business. Your unofficial survey was delivered via email on 11/12, and on 11/13 you requested that we not record it because it showed that you would not get your way. I told you clearly the best I could legally do was wait the 90 days allowed by Arizona Law, but I would have to record it regardless of your feelings about the findings, which you agreed to. While we awaited the date to record with Maricopa County, you suddenly requested the recorded version on 11/19 (counter to our previous talk). We recorded the survey digitally on 11/20. As of 11/24 Maricopa County had not recorded the survey (again, a process out of our control), and it was re-submitted on that date and you were provided with all associated data (docket, receipt, etc.). On 11/29 you inquired about what the data was you received, to which we told you the details of the recording info. On 12/11 your again accused us of not delivering the survey left a nasty voicemail and were generally just an awful person about. You were forwarded all the previous documentation (again) and told that we had sent all the files, along with proof of receipt, to you on 12/11. At no point in all of this have we been anything but honest, courteous and professional with you. When you asked us to lie and cheat and subvert state laws, we refused. When the findings didn't go your way and you asked us to keep them a secret, we refused. When you asked us to withhold information outright and fail to record the survey, we refused. When you accused us of not delivering the survey, we provided it. When you did it again, we provided it and more. When you wrote this review, we responded accordingly. We hope this response brings some clarity to your memory."
