Dr. Burke is as good as they get. He has been my dog's vet for all 16 1/2 years of his life. His personal, caring nature for both the pet and the owner is very comforting. He knows his business extremely well, and is very professional and personable. His fees are very reasonable (sometimes surprisingly so), and you can be assured that your little buddy is in good hands with Dr. Burke. Highly recommended!

I was reccomended to Dr. Burke by a family member who had nothing but amazing things to say about the Doctor. Since I recently had rescued a dog and didnt know exactly his health status I decided to make an appointment to get him checked to ensure he had a clean bill of health. First appointment went well. I was truly appreciative with how they handled my pup and although Dr. Burke was not in on Fridays I met the other veterinarian who works out of the office a couple days a week Since my initial appointment I have contacted the office on three separate occasions with a question wanting to schedule for a teeth cleaning and discuss blood work to get my dog on heart-worm meds. All three times I have made contact with this office I have been assisted by Chantel. I am not sure if she is the receptionist or front office assistant but truly she has no business affiliating herself with the public and customers first impressions. She is extremely rude and very short toned. When I called to discuss heart-worm meds she circled around her words and it left me not feeling confident with the answers I was given. She got extremely annoyed when I asked for a call from the Dr. Which never happened . My last attempt was to schedule a teeth cleaning. When asked if I there was any possibility they had an opening on Friday she rudely cut me off and said they don't do cleanings on Fridays it would have to be Tuesdays or Thursdays and those appointments are booked for two weeks. Instead of patiently letting me finish my sentence and listening as she should do she immediately cut me short with her once again Not so personable disrespectful response as if I was suppose to know the cleaning schedules for the office. Right then I new I wouldn't be returning to Cornerstone. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first two times and held my patience thinking everyone has a bad day but I am the customer who deserves respect when I call in or have questions. I truly have respect for the vet techs and the Doctors in the office. Again my one and only visit was awesome as far as pet handling and showing care and concerns. But going through Chantel to get to the doctor is not an enjoyable process that I don't want to have to deal with.

What a GREAT experience! They asked me to bring my dog in before the cleaning day so they could check him out to make sure he was healthy. I was able to ask questions and felt comfortable with the procedure they would do and they gave me an estimate of the cost.
I scheduled the cleaning for 2 weeks later, which was their first available appointment. Nice to know they are booked up and others must feel they do a good job and are willing to wait for a non-emergency appointment! They called the day before his cleaning to remind me of the appointment and instructions about no food after 9:00 pm the night before and no water the day of the cleaning. My mom dropped him off at the scheduled time and they called me about 1:00 pm to let me know he was awake and doing well and ready to be picked up. When I went to pick him up, they reviewed medications, service fees and let me know they will call the next morning to check on him to see how he's feeling.
I will definitely use them again! All of the staff were very professional, caring and didn't charge an arm or leg! This was truly a pleasant experience!

I was unable to reach this vet over the weekend, but decided to wait until Monday before scheduling an appointment (Hence B for responsiveness... still very good though). My cat has a been getting gunk around his eye, but it didn't look like an emergency. I called a little after 8:00 am on Monday and scheduled an appointment at 2:00pm in the afternoon.
My cat was examined (temperature and weight recorded) and it was determined that the eye problem wasn't serious (my cat has poor drainage). However, the vet was thorough enough to check my cat's mouth, feet, and ears. He found a mild infection in my cat's ears. I got medicine and was shown how to apply it. The whole examination from start to finish took 25 minutes and was both professional and thorough. I feel I was asked the right questions so that the vets could most precisely determine the health of my animal.
I've had my cat for a week (an 18 month old adult cat with previous trauma) and we will be using this veterinarian again. The cost seems more than fair for the quality of service received.

I called Cornerstone and told them I had a cat with an infected jaw and asked if they could see him that morning as an emergency. They said that Dr. Burke was in surgery but to come in and they would try to fit us in as soon as possible. When I walked in the doctor was just coming out of surgery and we were seen immediately.

Dr. Burke is AWESOME! He did not try to run up my bill by conducting unnecessary and expensive tests that another local vet had suggested. He diagnosed our puppy as having an infection and gave us the necessary medication. He was truly concerned about our puppy's well being - had great advice, and spent a long time with us in the exam room. They were just FANTASTIC!
He is not like other vets that just want to charge you hundreds of dollars for no reason. HE IS HONEST AND HAS YOUR PET'S BEST INTEREST AT HEART. That is more than I can say from any other vet we have seen here in the Phx valley.

I walked into the office, filled out new patient forms and waited to be called in. The nurse called my dog into the exam room and gave my dog a preliminary exam prior to the Dr. coming in. I waited maybe 5 minutes then the Dr. came into the office, examined my dog, talked with me about my dog's prior health history and the medication he would prescribe after determining if my dog did indeed have a UTI. He then told me to get a sample of my dog's urine, bring back the specimen, they would test it and call me. It was a good experience. I will continue to use them as my pet's veternarians.

We own two reactive dogs. We love 'em but they are a hand-full. When Dakota's teeth needed cleaning I worried that I wouldn't find someone with whom we were comfortable. I should not have worried. Cornerstone to the rescue. They were patient and caring with him. Did the required tests, give him a full check-up, and cleaned his teeth a couple of days later. It's hard to beat that for less than $300. These folks are first class.

Prompt, complete answer delivered with appropriate compassion and concern. Although nothing outside normal parameters on blood work, instructions given on possibilities for enhancing cat's appetite with advisement to watch for further weight loss or any unusual symptoms. Staff very compassionate and caring, I have taken all my household pets to Dr. Daniel Burke for more than 7 years now. I recommend him to anyone who asks me about a good vet.

GREAT EXPERIENCE. DR. BURKE TOOK US THE SAME DAY AND WAS TERRIFIC WITH MY CAT and TOOK CARE OF THE PROBLEM PROMPTLY AND CHECKED UP THREE DAYS LATER.
