We took bids for our remodel and chose Stacy Connor to do the job. He was honest and easy to work with as well as his being a talented contractor with lots of good ideas and subcontractors. We were assigned a job foreman, someone who could work with my demanding requests. Doug, our foreman, was on the job every day, overseeing the subcontractors as well as doing an excellent job on the tile work himself. He built the 'European Entry' shower with two pony walls and large niche. Licensed subcontractors were used for plumbing and electrical work. C&F Cabinets provided the beautiful Fieldstone cabinets. Stacy and our designer, Jonelle Davis of Davis Design, met at C&F to make the selections and layout. Any questions we had about any part of the project were answered with expertise. During the remodel, they were considerate of our privacy as we lived in half the house during the project. Dust barriers were put up and vents covered to keep the majority of the dust under control. We felt confident to leave the house at any time, leaving the foreman in charge. Stacy and his team always went the extra mile to make sure everything was done right and done to our satisfaction. Any follow-up items were done without question. We could not be happier with our remodel. It turned out beautiful and exceeded our expectations.
Description of Work: Stacy Connor remodeled our kitchen, master bath and laundry room. In the bathroom he took out the tub and enlarged the shower, making it a curbless shower with a built-in bench. The porcelain tile in the shower was also used on the floor. We added a larger double sink and vanity area with custom cabinets, built-in hamper and hair-dryer station. The contractor also changed the size of the bathroom window to fit these changes, replacing it with a Pella window as well as replacing another bathroom window with a new Pella window. In the kitchen, the old cabinets were removed and reconfigured to fit into our laundry room which added a lot of storage plus added two quartz countertops and a pocket door. We had custom cabinets made for the kitchen and enlarged the center island adding cabinets and drawers. We added a coffee station cabinet, enlarged drawers, added pull-outs in the cabinets, replaced the old cooktop with a Wolf Induction cooktop that is flush with the new quartz countertop. Under the upper cabinets, the contractor installed a LeGrande system for outlets including USB ports, phone and iPod brackets plus a LED lighting strip with dimmer.
