Excellent!!!! We had electrical surges that caused lights to blink and appliances not to work. Later Sun night smoke came from the blender. Called 7 top rated electrical companies from Angie's List and none had availability today. Called these guys and they were here at 8 am and had fixed the problem by 9:45 am. The guy was punctual, polite and professional. I am very satisfied and will definitely use them again soon.

THE APPT: I emailed AES and described work.  Got email response with quote and set an 8:AM appt on Friday of following week.
THE WORK: due to traffic, James was there around 9:AM.  He had all the materials and equipment that he needed.  He got right to work.  He is efficient and he leaves no mess.  He was done in about 3 hours and everything works perfectly.  These new can lights really modernized the look of my kitchen area, I am really pleased.
I have vaulted ceilings so I wasn't so happy about the standard lighting that comes with the recessed lights (65w, about 600 lumens) so I replaced all of my lights with 70w halogen floods, BR40, 1330 lumens.  That really made a difference and now I can use the full range of the dimmer switch.
OVERALL: James if very knowledgable and does nice work.  I will call AES again when I need electrical work.  North Valley residents shoud know there is a $50 trip charge.  I live in north Glendale in Arrowhead Ranch.

The owner, Paul Barrett, returned my call promptly. He came to the home and calculated an estimate for multiple can lights and dimmer switches. The next day, he emailed me the detailed, line-by-line pricing estimate. I called him and we discussed where i wanted the can lights to be. Paul could have sold me more lights, but surprisingly, he suggested that in several of my rooms, I should wait to decide on the furniture arrangement before installing the lights. That makes sense. He also ran to the home improvement store during the install to get one more dimmer switch that I decided on at the last minute. Excellent service all around. I will be calling him for the rest of the lighting.

The servicemen arrived on time, very competently installed three recessed lights in my kitchen in a surprisingly short time, cleaned up after themselves,  and spent a few minutes telling us what kinds of bulbs we could use int he fixtures.  We were very satisfied with not only the quality of the lights and the quality of the work, but with the courtesy of the servicemen.

Paul came out to the house and inspected the problem and gave us one of the best, most comprehensive bids. He was very clear about the possible complications and how much each scenario would cost. He and his men arrived on time and did a great job. The underground work was very neat and they used conduit instead of just laying the cable. The connection to the house and inside work to the electric box was also very neat. Great job!

The technician arrived at the scheduled time, identified himself "Hi I'm James with Arizona Energy Services here to install two ceiling fans and add an electrical outlet." He was neatly dressed in a company shirt. He verified with me where the fans were to be installed and the approximate time it would take to  complete the job. Again he was very professional, there was no loud music playing from his phone, no personal phone calls made and no ear plugs in or head set on. He completed the work in about 2 hours, the price was what I was quoted and there was no mess left for me to clean up.

The workers were extremely unprofesstional,. They could not even install a ceiling fan that did not wobble! We naively  made the final payment before the work was actually completed, and then the owner  told us that we were never to contact him again when we complained about the HORRIBLE workmanship. We finally had to hire another COMPETENT electrical company to do the job. Virtually nothing Arizona Energy Sevices claimed they had done, and for which we paid, was actually done. No new breakers, were installed,, improperly spliced wires and burned junction boxes were found. We considered filing a complaint with the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, but unfortunately, the contractor must be allowed to make repairs to satisfy a complaint, and we would NEVER let this bunch anywhere near any property we own again. This company is a COMPLETE RIP OFF.
Response from Arizona Energy Services
"Unfortunately as a contractor we will be hired on by owners who look to take advantage of us. The project and scope of work we were hired to do was completed on this customers project. The customers property had numerous code violations that needed additional repair like open splices in the attic and non compliant j-box issues onsite. The property was in pretty bad shape and needed additional work. The customer refused to pay for the additional work needed. They also had us install these old used ceiling fans that wobbled and would not buy new ones for this property. Unfortunately, we asked the customer never to call us again. I spoke also with the Drywall Contractor a few months later and he also had issues with this owner. As a company you can look at our reviews on Google and Bing. We have a 4.6 rating out of 5 with over 180 customer reviews. Our principles of operation have always been Quality, Commitment and Service. We look forward to having quality honest relationships with our customers. Thank You."

They are prompt and efficient.  They stick to their estimate and never change their price.  They do what they say they would do.  Their price is a little bit higher.
Response from Arizona Energy Services
"Thank You Member for the good review. The project went great and no changes to the original scope of work."
