The technician did not seem familiar with our warming drawer but contacted his supervisor via phone and together they determined what needed to be done should it fail again. (It was shutting off intermittently but hasn’t since he was here. )

Jim was delayed by an emergency but notified me promptly that he would be delayed, then notified me again that he was on his way.  He solved to problem quickly, then cleaned the pump filter and checked the washer to make sure that it was functioning as it should.
I will call Jim, Appliance Medics,if I have any more problems with appliances.

He ran the diagnostic cycle and then cleaned out the pump filter to get it working again. He also explained how to clean out pump filter for the future and also how to clean the machine. Very professional

First visit he determined he needed to replace the Magetron and charge $65/labor. This took about 30minutes. Stated that this would go towards the final bill. Second visit with the part at $107 took about 10minutes to replace. Charged another $54 (gave me a $10 discount).

So exactly how did the first $65 go towards the final cost? Just feel that he charged more for labor then justified. He stated that he recently brought out the owner, so maybe we have a different idea of reasonable cost.

Not quite happy. Maybe I'm expecting to much.

I was surprised when my wife said she found someone who would come out on a holiday for regular service call rates. He gave us an estimated time of arrival and ten minutes before that time he called to say he was five to ten minutes away. His quick diagnosis found the control panel to be at fault. He said he could get a replacement panel, but it would be about $400. He said that that option didn't make a lot of sense on a 6 year old machine when we could purchase a new replacement machine with a much longer warranty for slightly more. He then spent about ten minutes giving us his take on what to buy to replace our old machine. He was friendly, answered all our questions and his advice was right on the money. We ended up buying an LG machine that has performed better than the Maytag ever did. We would not hesitate to use this business again!

They did a good job and it works well. He was very good at cleaning up and not leaving a mess behind.
